Treating parasites in your chameleon is all well and good, but how do we stop the infection BEFORE it begins? That is the best way to deal with parasites!

I will buy a chameleon in one month. Here in Sweden is so hard to find breeders :( so I will go to a reptile expo 4 hours away to get him! But haven’t had the chance to know which breeders will be there, and check their websites and so on. How do I check if he has parasites? Do I need to take him to the vet directly?

@@LanaLeon you would need to bring a fecal sample to the vet. So, bring him home and look for that first poop. Bring that to the vet and they will be able to tell you if there are parasites.
