Great topic. I've never seen anyone mention number creep. This is a very valid point. It happens so easily. I've always had aquariums and that can be enough work to begin with. Then I started getting other animals. I got one snake and loved it. Now I have 4 snakes, a giant day gecko, a veiled chameleon, 2 axolotls, hermit crabs (which is more work than people think if taken care of properly), and two tortoises. Thankfully I no longer have the rats (awesome but allergic). Between aquarium and enclosure maintenance, feeding, daily tortoise soaks and daily checks on environmental parameters such as temp/humidity etc., changing things like lightbulbs and mister bucket stuff, there are times when I think what was I thinking when I kept adding more to take care of. Yet I'll sit there and think, wouldn't it be great to have another chameleon, or something like poison dart frogs? It can get out of hand lol. And of course, the creeping costs that come with it sneak up on you as well.

@@amyleigh4311 I have been there way too many times and it takes serious self-control to stop yourself. (Especially with reptiles because it is such a small incremental increase in work.)

Hey bill, do you have a 36x18x36 on your website or any cages compatible with a bio active enclosure without having to buy something to hold the the soil?
