i would not call a matchup autowin that one can lose. As seen right there.. You still have a slight chance to not draw frost lich jaina. And if you do, the Rogue can still deal with Water Elementals if he plays smart and conserves saps, doomerangs or the blade fury

Not really, since the hunter had 2 + 3 in hand (Candleshot and southsea), the extra 3 armor would've been pointless. Playing something else with the artificer, such as blizzard could've worked too, but why risk it when you can guarantee the win?

nope. right as the hunter's turn started he had 2 cards in hand which were the 5/5 and the candleshot he had just drawn. So had trump played the artificier on the turn which i spoke of, he WOULD have guaranteed the win since he kept his iceblock. and the hunter would not break it. Counting for all the possibilities, this plays around something like eater of secrets. In other words.. if he has the choice of playing the artificer on that very turn to gain that 3 armor and help keep his ice block going, theres no reason not to play it (under those ongoing game circumstances atleast).

Have you tried using mountain giant, crystal lion, stand against darkness, corridor, drygultch, call to arms, lightfused stegadon, redemption, divine favor paladins? It's a strange combo, but it has the potential to have alot of value around turn 5-7. Also has a constant board with stand against darkness and the recruits.

ravens familliar near guarentees a draw (Outclassed i think only by Ult Infest), in a deck where all your big spells are useful. plus, it adds a 2/2 minion onto the board.

So are US servers more competitive , or is it standard vs wild? Because I rarely play this game and got to rank 10 in wild on EU with just a few hours here and there these 2 weeks (started at 18 after reset). And I play a mostly home-brewed aggro deck I don't think is optimal.

US servers were first and the others were added in a bit later. So US has a bit larger player base than the rest. That said, it really isn't more competitve than any of the other servers. Though Asia does tend to be more challenging than the other servers. Wild allows for all cards to be used, so Aggro can be much more viable than in standard/normal.

I do think Velen's chosen (3 mana priest spell "give a minion +2/+4 and +1 spell damage") is extremely good in aggro type decks (or "zoo", whatever you want to call this deck).
