Jaw dropped from start to finish. The references, the transpositions, the instrument choices at each turn...I mentioned this was one of my favorites, but it's even better when hearing it in this style! The quieter parts reminded me that this wasn't actually RSE, but since that's how the original track was, it's probably how it would sound if SV was on the GBA. Thanks a bunch as always!

What if in an alternate timeline, every Region came out together as Gen 1's version-exclusives? And every five years, a sequel Gen came out on each Nintendo hardware(like Pokemon 1 in 1996 on GB, Pokemon 2 in 2001 on GBA, etc.)? With 5-year timeskips and transfers in-between Gens(even from GB to GBA). With Gen 1 protagonists becoming the first Champions of their respective regions. And every sequel Gen had new forms like Megas & Variants along with new protagonists battling the previous ones at the Leagues to be the next Champions? How'd the games have been like? How well would the series have been recieved? And how'd NPCs have viewed the protagonists as Trainers?

これSEなしの一時間耐久欲しいなあ！そう思うくらいに、幾らでも聴いていられる凄いアレンジです。原曲より好きです！ 0:48〜　の所はⅣ調ですが、原曲だと⚬Ⅲ→⚬-Ⅱ→Ⅰという大味な和音進行なのに対して、このアレンジでは導音を通るような対旋律をつけてあげることで⚬Ⅲ→下変Ⅴ7→Ⅰという丁寧な作りを実現させています。音楽がより綺麗に聴こえるように、繊細な工夫がされているところが好きです。

私は音楽の理論的なことについて詳しくないのですが、全体を通して、できるだけ昔のポケモンのbgmっぽく聴こえるようアレンジしました。あなたのコメントでおっしゃっていた0:48〜の部分は、原曲の音の動き方が昔では絶対にあり得ないものだと思ったため、ベース音を変えないことによって少しでもポケモンらしさを演出しようとしています。元のbgmのような動き方をするときは、一旦これまでの音楽のテンポ感、リズム感を崩すことになるので、それを自然に雰囲気づけるためのSFX(効果音)が必須（※ないとダサいという意味、正直にいうとあっても少しダサいと思っています）となりますが、RSE音源ではそのようなものがないため、変えなければならないという側面もありました。また、おそらく対旋律と呼ばれているものは、RSEの四天王戦からの引用部分です。 もっというと、ドーソーソドソ♭ラ〜という最初の旋律は、C→Fmとなっているものの、昔なら絶対にC→C#となっている部分であり、今と昔で作曲の根本的な考え方が異なってしまっていることが、本当に悲しいです。なぜ自分のアレンジでそうしなかったかというと、そのあとの旋律がもうそう言った普通の音楽としてのコードの使い方になっているため、そこだけ昔のポケモン独特の音の使い方をしても全体として綺麗に聴こえないからです。 本当に今のポケモンの音楽には色々思うことはありますが、このようなコメントをいただいて嬉しく思います。ここで長文をぶちまけてしまいすみません、そしてありがとうございました。

@@elnino4dlate コメントありがとうございます！ ＞おそらく対旋律と呼ばれているものは、RSEの四天王戦からの引用部分です ご指摘の通りです！私が「対旋律」と言ったのは、「♭ミ ♭♭ファ ♭ソ ♭♭ファ ♭ソ ソ ♭ラー」というメロディーです。これは、四天王戦の「ド ♭シ ♭ラ ♭シ ド ♭シ ド ♯ド レー」というあのメロディーを彷彿とさせますよね！勿論このことにも気づいていましたよ！しかもこのメロディーを原曲と同じ意味合い(主調の地位を補強し、カタルシスを作る目的)で用いるのではなく、下属調(等、別の調)の、フレーズのキメのタイミングで使っているところも非常に気に入っています。あくまで今回は裏メロとしての出番ですから、目立ち過ぎてもいけないわけですしね。しかし、ある程度は目立ってくれないと「導音から主音へと駆け抜けてくれるタイプのメロディー」を使っている旨味が減ってしまいます。本当に絶妙な用法だと思います。この部分が非常に美しく、言っては悪いのかもしれないのですが、正直なところ、原曲以上に、原曲の魅力を紹介していると思います。 今原曲を確認しましたが、成る程、パーカッションもメロディーと同じリズムしか演奏していないのですか。勿論そんなことをGBAでやるわけにはいきませんね。いや、Switchでもやっていいとは(私も)思わないのですが……。よくDTMは引き算だなんてことを言われますが、こういう(原曲のような)実例を見ると、時には足し算も必要なんじゃないの？と思います。 ＞最初の旋律は、C→Fmとなっているものの、昔なら絶対にC→C♯となっている部分であり 確かにC→Fmですね！原曲を聴いた時、何故か勝手にC→A♭と脳内変換していました笑 成る程確かに、そのような見方もありますか。例えばBWのトレーナー戦の(イントロが終わった直後の)テーマのメロディーの裏で流れている伴奏は(Cmajorに移調すると) C→D♭ ですものね。これを「時代の変遷」と捉えられたのですね。 私は、オモダカ戦の原曲のC→FmのFmはサブドミナントを置きたくて置いた音だと理解しています。赤緑のジムリーダー戦の(イントロ直後の)テーマにある　Ⅰ→⚬Ⅶ　(CmajorだとC→B♭)とか、先程のBWの例の　Ⅰ→⚬-Ⅱ　のような和音進行は、ポケモンのBGMに多く見られるものですが、ドミナントを作りたくて置いているものでしょうね。恐らく、オモダカ戦の方は、後続のメロディーが Ⅰ度 からはスタートしないので、一旦サブドミナントを置いてⅠ度へ回帰するタイミングを引き延ばそうという目的があるように感じました。なので、原曲がC→C♯という和音進行になっていない点については、理由がある程度はっきりしているため自分の中では納得しています。 しかし、だとしても、私ならドーソーソドソ♭ラーーソーファー♭ミーレードーシドレーーの部分は　C→A♭→(Fm→)Dm5-7→G　このようにしますがね……。特に　ファー♭ミーレード　の部分で(原曲が)和音を変えないというのはちょっと大味過ぎる印象を受けますよね。 私が初めに(悪い意味で)衝撃を受けたのはΩRαSのBGMです。 ほぼ全てのアレンジが最悪だと思っていますが、特に、ヒワマキシティのイントロを全部Ⅰ度の和音で埋め尽くす豪快っぷりには参りました。当時、サントラが出たら絶対買おうと思っていたのに、いざゲームをやってみたらBGMがあまりにも酷過ぎて買う気が失せたのには自分でも驚きました。あの作品ほど「君達は何か音がなってりゃ満足なんでしょ？」と言われているような気にさせられた作品はありません笑 私も最近のポケモンの音楽には思うことが多いので、Uemuraさんのお気持ちが痛い程に分かります。 また、いつか機会を得たら、コメントさせてください！勿論返信不要です！書いている内に長くなり過ぎてしまいました……
