I would have honestly loved to have her as the Main champion of the region. Geeta's theme lacked alot of "WOAH" factor that other champions had.

i wished her character was more fleshed out. you only find out Post game after Academy Ace tournament about her being alienated by other students due to her intimidating strength as a trainer.. but yea shes great, so energetic, shes up there with Hugh and Silver for me!

I love Nemona so much. They handled her kind of one-dimensionaly, sure, but all the same. Her design is gorgeous, I love her energy, her music is great. A strong-willed girl who is very eager to throw down with anyone, anytime lol. Wouldn't surprise me to see her fighting Pokemon _herself_ , like Bea does in the anime. Love Nemona, best rival.

Nemona's champion theme is such a bop just like her regular battle theme, can't say for certain who composed it without an official soundtrack release but it's thought to be Hitomi Sato

@@6dm978 Yeah that's what most people seem to think and I agree, Hitomi Sato composed the Iris champion theme and this has similar synths in places. Nemona's OG battle theme also sounds like a Hitomi Sato composition so I'm pretty confident it's her

Same, I played for hours in a session or two gathering THE ULTIMATE TEAM before even fighting the first gym. I then took on and beat the first gym despite not really having any good bug counters aside from the Wooper sweep, and haven't played since. Was fun though

Nemona would've been a better rival had she picked your starter's weakness. Great theme though I still prefer Penny over Nemona.

The thing is... I feel like this doesn't matter in the long run. Let's say she did pick the starter strong against yours, you'd be bound to have a counter to it in your party by this point anyway. Half my team (Clawitzer, Garganacl, Clodsire) would've been a pretty hard counter to Skeledirge. It's not like you don't know this fight is coming. I found her a much harder fight than Director Clavell* even though he has the starter strong against yours. Besides, all three starters are really strong this gen and her Quaquaval was very much "all right, Flower Trick one-shots me, but if for whatever reason you aren't in a position to do that because, say, you forgot that Goodra has Sap Sipper** and access to Ice Beam, then you're in for a world of hurt..." (Saying that, what *would* have been cool would have been if she'd paid a trip to the Treasure Eatery before the Champion battle and changed her starter's Tera type to its *secondary* typing...) * To be fair, he was like the second-toughest of the many six-mon endgame trainers in this game, and I did fight him after her. There was still daylight between him and Nemona. ** Muddy Water was lowering my accuracy, leading me to go "I know! I'll use my attack that never misses! Who cares that it's not very effective, it's a strong move and I just need to chip off the last bit of health...". I am absolutely certain that that was a "played for and got" move on the part of the devs.
