The fact that one of his artifacts is a pair of boots that make him hover an inch off the ground purely so he doesn't get his feet dirty is one of my favorite details in Warhammer lore. It's so totally useless yet so perfectly Slaaneshi.

A perfect touch is that in the tabletop, you have to roll a "stupidity check". Normally this represents unruly or moronic monsters that might not always obey in the heat of battle. For Sigvald, its seeing if he gets too distracted by seeing his own beauty reflected in someone's shield.

Sigvald is an Emperor's TTS character. Seriously, even when he is doing unspeakeable things It's still really hard to take him seriously due to his vanity. The guy's bodyguards have mirrors on their shields so he can see his "glorious beauty" in battle.

I think that it's worth clarifying that Sigvald's "desire for man-flesh" refers to his cannibalism, not his OTHER desire for man-flesh. Unless I missed it, there's also the little detail of him being birthed by his aunt, as his dad had a thing for family. As I recall, no, it wasn't consensual. Which might be why Choyer omitted it, come to think of it. Sigvald is basically a "Crusader Kings"-character. With crotchless armour.

I always found it satisfying that they used the concept of beauty and perfection in such a negative light. In moderation their fine, but when you give into excess you risk falling to slaanesh. Sigvald is just the perfect champion for Slaanesh, not only because he exemplifies their ideals but because he's so deluded he believes he's on the same level or better than Slaanesh 😆. Was so happy to see him in age of sigmar, great video as always 😄

He used to be so much better in WH1 they took away his armor piercing he’s still really really good but not the god he was in WH1. In WH1 I never lost a fight with him in WH3 I lost an early game fight against belakor but later on after earning his armor/sword and more skills I took belakor down. Still Inwas surprised that there was a character that actually took me down in a 1v1 fight that was unheard of in wh1.

All armor is designed for function over form and the character design for his armor leaves the groin area exposed save for basic chainmail. That implies he need this area exposed and with him being the cannibal rapist he is .....well lets just say if you died on the battle field you would consider yourself lucky and pray you didnt end up a POW because after the battle ends well... it was exposed for a reason.

I know that they couldn't be more different but when I clicked on this video I had Chris Hemsworth's Thor in my mind. I don't really know why, the only thing in common is that both are blond. In any case, I loved this video because it really brings to life one of the worst (in a good way) characters in WH Fantasy. Slaneesh is often taken as the least dangerous of the Four but that couldn't be far from the truth, while anyone can recognize Nurgle, Tzeench will harm itself half the time and Khorne will shout a challenge to everyone Slaneesh is a poison that taste and smells beautifully.

Empire technology allows them to survive, gunpowder is a great way to kill dangerous monstrosities from far. Artillery thins their numbers, organized lines of halberds hold the line. Magic supports them. If the empire gets 100 or 200 more years of technology, they would eventually win as chaos won't be able to do much against machine guns and bolt action rifles. Give them 400 years and main battle tanks and attack helicopters would just be too much. The empire was the fastest growing civilization in terms of technology everyone else except for the border princes, Kislev and maybe Cathay is stagnant compared to the empire.

He didn’t. He got killed and his soul floated into the void until Nagash found it and imprisoned him in a mirror (that would never show his own image) until he was able to taunt someone to break his mirror and Slaanesh was pleased at this guile so he made him hornier.

@@brentdye1504 Technically he isn’t a Daemon Prince. He doesn’t have the Daemon Keyword in game. He during his time in the mirror caught in the limbo dimension. When some Privateers took his mirror out of the dimension he tricked another Hedonite to break his mirror and set him free. Slaanesh saw this, his infatuation with his formerly favorite mortal returned (Slaanesh is fickle like that) and gave him enough power to be reborn as he is now. Complete with Slaaneshi bovine horns.
