I'm retired from slow pitch, I pitched for my league night team for 30 years and was OK defensively then I took a line drive off my left cheek just under my eye! Lucky enough to turn my head or would've taken it right in eye. Bought head gear next day!!

That was a pretty tame swing for Conny. He used to be the enforcer when teams used to try hitting middle. Hitting middle is part of the game in the conference.
