The decisions being made this year… all the title holders getting drafted, the belts being changed, the NXT tag belts being scrapped, the weird choice of MITB participants, Ronda being tag champ even though she rarely loses any match, Dana being shipped to NXT, Natalya building a very strange storyline, matches randomly being made and then cancelled and splitting up damage Ctrl … it’s almost as if someone backstage is abusing their power and making awful decisions instead of retiring. Lacy should’ve stayed in NXT longer. She had opportunities on the main roster but her in ring work was never ready. Then she got pregnant which is a personal choice. But in the end she still won’t be taken seriously by the audience because her ring work isn’t up to par.

No they didn't they put her right in the title picture her debut match. She just botched a lot n her wrestling wasn't good enough to be held so high so quick and the fans knew that. Which is one of the many reasons she's not over.

True that her skills were not the best but she had her character down to a T and owned every promo. She already had a rough start when she spend the first month or so just parading on the ramp instead of actually wrestling and afterwards she was put into a feud with Becky Lynch, who was the most over wrestler in WWE at that point. Her winning the title would have cost WWE a lot of merchandise-money so they didn't bother pulling that trigger. Her partnership with Baron Corbin and later Charlotte Flair completely sent her down the drain. I'm just saying that they could easily build her up now with her more serious and grounded gimmick.

Okay imma talk on why having the women’s tag titles being defended in NXT does not work. First, it really does not make sense to have Main Roster Champions loosing to NXT rookies. Especially if the booking is just a #1 contenders match, which WWE does cs they are lazy. Second, I feel like it if they ever do drop the titles in NXT, it will stay there bc main roster does not want to deal with it and we won’t see them for a while. Which I don’t mind but that was the reason why we had NXT women tag titles… The only thing I hope they do is bring NXT tag teams to Raw and SmackDown or even Main Event to fight other teams so they are not just stuck in NXT and would give the tag division more exposure
