hi thank you for Ur interesting lesson, and i have a question.i like the chamsys lighting software so i downloaded it in chamsys website.i just want to know without any hardware can i use it for like training???? and 2nd one after i patching all the fixture and then i get the massage if i want i can add to the visualizer .i select yes.i want it in visualizer.but it cant show in visualizer?? can u imaging whats wrong with this.pls i need ur help thanks.

You can use the chamsys for training through the visualizer without any hardware. If you want to control any physical light you will need a chamsys dongle or any blue chamsys console. To get to the visualizer...up at the top should be a button that says visualizer, then press view visualizer. If the visualizer doesnt show up, the computer might have it where a second display would be. If that is the case, press reset visualizer and it will bring it back to your scree. Hope this helps!

I usually use the MQ80. I have never been on a 60 but I am sure that they are nearly the same and very similar. If you message me I will do my best to help you and answer any of the questions you might have. These consoles are all very similar. Let me know if you have questions and I will be happy to help!

What is a universe

A universe is consisted of 512 channels. Thus “dmx512” people say. Each light has a given number of channels. You can only have a total of 512 channels in one single universe. That might mean 50 lights or 100 lights and so on to fill all 512. Once you get over 512 channels then you have to go into universe 2,3,4, and so on.
