Wonderful tutorial. I learned a lot. Thank you! I was wondering if you could make a tutorial show how to import gdtf files. I searched the internet and tried the method on the manual, just cannot make it work. Thanks.

Hello, When i save shows I it does not store any of the positions or colours i have used. Could you point me in the right direction?
@ChamSysLtd Жыл бұрын
Pallettes and Cues are all saved into the show file, could you send your show file over to our support team: support@chamsys.co.uk and they will look into this for you.

How do you delete a show? I have a MQ70 with 30+ shows on it. I just need some help
@ChamSysLtd Жыл бұрын
Setup > File Manager, use 'remove' to delete shows. To remove multiple in one go, hold SHIFT and use the cursor keys to highlight file(s) and then hit remove and press enter.

Hi. I'm trying to backup a show to my USB thumb drive on a MQ50 console. The USB is formatted to windows standard FAT32 but the console doesn't see the thumb drive and when I try to save to USB it reports "Could not write to Show name.sbk". Do you know what is going on?

Have you got a different USB drive you could test? If this still doesn't work, if you go to Setup > File Manager > USB drive, can you see any files on the stick here?

@@ChamSysLtd I've tested two USB drives. One of them has an LED indicator for when it's plugged in and the indicator lights up when I plug it into the console. However I get the same error trying to back up and I can't see any files stored in the USB in the file manager. Using the thumb drives on my home computer the software can read from them just fine but on the console I get these issues.

@@Koubles What size are the drives you are using? MagicQ usually preferes upto 16GB drives, anything smaller file size should be fine. Do you have any other USB devices e.g. sound cards connected to the console also?
@Koubles2 жыл бұрын
@@ChamSysLtd They were 32 and 64 GB respectively. I plugged in a 32 GB Kingston drive that's never been formatted before (to my knowledge) and was FAT32 and it registered in the console. Maybe the other drives were cheap and the console didn't like them or it had something to do with them being formatted in the past? Not entirely sure.

@@Koubles A normal Fat32 drive is what we recomend also. Any further issues let us know.

How can I import my audio file inside a mq50??
@ChamSysLtd5 ай бұрын
Place the audio files onto a USB Drive, then connect USB drive to the console. You will need to copy the audio files from the USB drive into the Show > Audio folder. Once in here they can be used on Cues / Audio timeline.
