ADMK cannot stand on its own anymore. TN desperately needs help from the Centre to steady its finances. So ADMK's wise choice is to be a subordinate player to BJP, for the sake of TN's future. This means creating an alliance under the BJP leadership to create a joint govt to defeat the DMK. Annamalai as CM in TN is needed to create new jobs and save the state from a debt cycle. ADMK will need to only focus on survival now - not leadership.
