Hi I am not sure if you will see this but could you please do a tutorial on how to achieve those korean worship style tones such as Markers Worship, using the line 6 helix? They have a very nice tone that does not drown in reverb and delay and my church does a few cover of their versions so need your help! 🙏🏻

Hi! I'll have to take a look at them first, it could be the basis for a Tonal Recreation video. Any particular song that's a "signature" for them?
@scjj8839Ай бұрын
@AllAboutWorshipGuitar Some songs you can check out are God is the strength of my heart, God will make a way, and He is exalted. Thanks for replying. Will really appreciate it if you can check them out 🙏🏻

Love what you did for a budget build! I don’t know when this video was made, but I’m surprised ToneX One didn’t make the cut with the update coming in a few weeks!

Thanks! Oh, it’s a recent shoot, cause Donner gave me some pedals to try. Indeed, the ToneX update is going to be game changing! I think a lot of folks who got rid of their big ToneX’s are regretting letting it go…

@@AllAboutWorshipGuitar 100!! I love my big board, but building budget/small boards is so much fun and you can make it all sound good!

Love it Justin! I have the Donner pedal with the chorus instead of phaser. It was given to me. Also have the Timmy, and an Tonex One so I could sub my Seymour Duncan Deja Vu (which does have tap tempo), which I got for $80. Could throw in my little Xotic SP compressor and have a similar rig. Even with my Baja! But mine doesn't have the mild 'PRS-ing yours has LOL. It is so fun to dial in a good sounding budget rig.

Thanks! Just out of curiosity, MXR Timmy, or an original one? I stupidly let my original Timmy go and I’ve been kicking myself since. Loving your pedal choices, especially that SP Comp, it’s my favorite mini compressor!

@@AllAboutWorshipGuitarI have the same MXR Timmy, along with the Duke of Tone. For compressor on my main board I really like my Analog Alien Joe Walsh Double Classic which is also great with bass.

My budget board consists of a used Boss ME-80. Gets the job done for under $200.

Nice! Ive always been intrigued by the menu-less ME series. Must be really easy to tweak something live!

@@AllAboutWorshipGuitar Exactly! Super easy to work with. I needed something to help me understand all the different effect options without spending a fortune.

or just get a Line 6 Pod Go and save $150
@AllAboutWorshipGuitar2 ай бұрын
Indeed! But some people prefer the thrill of building and putting together a rig from different parts.
@larriveeman2 ай бұрын
you don't need to spend a lot (people have different views on what constitutes "a lot") of money to get a decent rig
@AllAboutWorshipGuitar2 ай бұрын
I‘ll say a big “amen” to that! It also seems the older I get, my definition of “a lot” shrinks proportionally.

Personally, I'm against this whole "Worship Band" movement within today's churches. I prefer an organ or a piano, that's it. Some like it, it's just not my thing.
@AllAboutWorshipGuitar2 ай бұрын
I do enjoy the simple services with a piano or an organ too. Hymns with organs are so grand, it’s amazing! An interesting note, until the late 1800’s, the organ was the primary instrument in church, while the piano was considered too secular and unfit for church.
