Adé rye Acid Rap is 10 times (no pun intended) more cohesive then 10day, it's like a golden version of 10day, Acid Rap flows like one perfect goofy trippy piece of art

colecarter I agree but after a couple years I realized that chance is the hipster mumble rapper... at least acid rap had character. Coloring book is trash and he's super overrated fake gospel artist when he was more of a wyclef/outkast blended with the new

I loved this mixtape at first because of its shiny production but i started listening more and the lyrics and emotions stuck with me forever. Its so easily connectable to me and there are a few tracks where i feel hes talking right to me. The troubled youth. This as been my favorite mixtape since it came out

I loved everything about #AcidRap and I don't do any drugs. The kid is just dope. A lot of older hip-hop heads won't be open to it at first but the guy is dope. The intro is one of the best tracks on the tape.

If you are from Chicago, you can really appreciate the intro and the outro with the juke beat. the Intro and the Outro is a tribute to Chicago's music

I LOVED this album probably my fav so far of 2013 for some reason his crooning/singing gave me amy winehouse vibes..and truth be told nothing on this grabbed my attention until I heard the reggae sample on "favorite song" after that I played this in my car and I have been hooked.. this basically fulfilled my musical needs I was waiting for some new music to come out that didn't sound like anything else..

You guys should review "A Little More Elbow Room" by Hawk House. It was released two days before Acid rap, so it was totally overshadowed. It's amazing though.

I was exact same way. I absolutely hated this mixtape, but I found myself singing Coco Butter Kisses when I was driving around. Then I gave it a couple more listens and now I'm hooked.

The intro was amazing to me it reminded me of like some Reading Rainbow 80-90s type shit and that's what i grew up on. I think this guys cadence is very peculiar but it really grew on me. And I love his flow its so weird and schitzo. Overall I am a huge Chance the Rapper fan now. Its great that hip hop is going in this direction on a popular level now

I liked the intro personally. It was nothing to go crazy for, but i found it enjoyable at least. From then on though the album really grew to my liking. Pusha man then cocoa butter kisses? Even the interludes were fun to listen! Great project.

Why does Cudi's name keep being mentioned? That dude hasn't had a listenable album in at least 3 years. I wasn't sure what to expect here but Acid Rap kept me entertained all the way through. One of my favorite releases in awhile.

I almost flipped out when the first track cut out like that because I was really getting into it, but I was loving the whole thing on the first listen. And, with what C-Town was saying about making experimental music catchy, I think that's what Death Grips did with Money Store.

It's the same voice he has on 10Day just used differently for this album which is basically what you're saying. I listen and am a fan of Acid Jazz which is why I appreciate the music of this tape.

The Intro has a tempo that is meant for foot-working. Foot-working is a dance that they do in Chicago
