I think the audience was silenced by his speaking because they were entrenched in what he was talking about, truly. He has the tongue of an old world scholar, and his description of his experiences were so captivating. I actually found myself waiting for him to say more when he reminded us to pause and give applause to the people he mentioned. I love a good speaker who enjoys intertwining old and new words. Hands down, Chance The Rapper is one of the best at this ability.

I often think about the difference between guests on Stephan's show & Trevor's show. Stephan has a lot of white actors, authors, or stage actors, there to promote their product, while Trevor features more people of color, who are sometimes selling a book or a documentary, but sometimes just talking about ideas. Its great to see a black person talking about blackness & how much we need to still think about how radical this is.

Jesus was not a real person, he is a work of fiction, you know they did not start to write about Jesus until 200 years after the supposed events. The human race is so stupid, we are nothing but social animals that do our best to conform with the pack. If I had not been born in a secular country there is a good chance I too would be sprouting religious nonsense.

Religious bs and I see he is going the way of Kanye West and is taking himself far too seriously. Sometimes you got to tell them to clap and that is when you lost me. OFC religious people upon hearing the very mention of God get quite excited and supportive, unless you are taking a humanist view point they don't like that so much.
