The Big Day has several decent songs but it just really doesn't work as an album. Waaay too long, overproduced, and repetitive. Shawn was also 100% right to note that it is just bizarre to center the theme of marriage so early into his own. Plus, most people just aren't that religious these days so you gotta accept that talking about god a whole bunch is just not gonna resonate with a good chunk of your audience...

@@gaamemaaster5363 The flow of songs was weird, the mixing was awkward and inconsistent from track to track, the delivery wasn't the same as past things, some of that music feels rushed, the subject matter was a sharp left turn. Yes artists grow and change. That doesn't mean I have to like it just because I like their past work. I wasn't trash, but I'd say it's not a project that has great playback value for most. I barely made it through The Big Day myself. Everyone has different tastes and opinions though, and that's fine.
