[26 December 2022] Regarding (the beautiful) Skip Marley: Here, with the *LEGENDARY* Marcia Griffiths, he stops slippin' and slidin' around in the vibey pop-slop (cf., his verse on Katy Perry[!]'s "Chained To The Rhythm") straightens himself up and comes on like the sweet soul singer (with the star-gaze in his eyes) from out my dearest dreams. I truly hope that some day soon he will record a studio version of "Chances Are" and release it as a single. So help me, I think think the pop music landscape needs more sweet soul music, and less so-called "tropical house."

Not trying to hate on your family. The way Family Man was done made Bob cry from above, I promise. Family Man and Carly were fundamental to his success, and Rita knows Bob's handshake superseded any piece of paper Babylon required for a contract. She used Bob's integrity to disgrace him and steal millions of dollars rightfully owed to Family Man. The commercial disgrace is sickening. Bob Marley earbuds, lemonade, coffee, and whatever else. All marketed w the worst, embarrassing catchphrases imaginable. 'Mellow Mood' cheese puffs, or whatever the fuck extorts $$ from wannabe fans. Absolutely repulsive and disgraceful. It might not mean shit to you, but I have every attainable Bob Marley & The Wailers live concert and sound check. It took years, money I couldn't spend, and plenty of miles driving in the day. Whatever it took to grasp footage I never saw or heard. His music meant and means that much to me. Most people would say who cares, the songs are the same. WHAT?!! A different set list for a day and night show from the same day meant everything. Typically, a slower, deeper vibe from one show, then an explosive show, focused on energy and riddim versus lyrics from the other. I'd love nothing more than the opportunity to actually hear and see the Marley who embraces purpose and revolution, despite living in Babylon.
