Hey Chance I just watched the video and the things in the floor in case no one has answered is Baseboard Heaters that are more geared toward colder climate areas. If you may have noticed they all had individual thermostats in the rooms so you could set your temps.

Exactly, however, the cost of using electric baseboard heating is very high, unless they were oil or gas or something. I wonder if forced air thru duct is an option. i am very surprised Chance was unaware what those were.

We would turn them into mini splits, in FL we don't need heaters like that but we do love the idea of setting our own temps.

Love the little house! Not crazy about stackable washer and dryer, would definitely put it on a basement, move the washer, dryer, furnace and water heater to the basement.

A nice smaller house. I would definitely live in this model. I really like the upstairs as shown. I am happy to see it can be expanded upstairs. For one grandmother alone, it has the room I need.

Laundry doesn't need it's own room. The resourceful small family will take the basket to the kitchen Island and fold everything there.

​@aaronorr5586 Absolutely not! Laundry room can still be an option by removing the unnecessary half bath. You could then fit either a small freezer or mud room section as well as a full size washer and dryer with shelving.

I love baseboard heaters, You can heat the room that you're in and no other room if you want to they are more efficient

Chance, I really love the home. The only two things I have to change are the windows going out, because, now you are letting the Fly"s come in. Second, I have to change the stackable washer and dryer. I like them side by side... but I do love the house.

Beautiful house. But just once it would be nice to have more separation between the kitchen and living room. They're practically one room. Which I hate all you need is a minor archway that lets you see into the kitchen. That way you have multiple places to mount a tv and be able to do more with the living room.

Lots of unusual shaped windows. The first room upstairs had 3 different windows on one wall! (and a fourth on the adjoining wall) Love the natural light and the lighter floors. 👍🏻

YES!!!! This house has the baseboard slat vents I love!!!! PERFECT!!!! I love the picture windows, but you can't but bug screens on them. I'd have to have windows you can put screens on!! And I LOVE the greys!!! Perfection for sure! This one would be perfect for me!!! The ONLY thing I would change, is have the upstairs ALL the master bedroom/bath/closet, and downstairs the two small bedrooms.

Beautiful house. Each room seems to have electric heaters with thermostats in each room. Living in Florida air conditioning would be essential. Not certain if this house could accommodate AC. THANKS!

This built seemly designed for the North I am from Central NY livng in South Carolina knowing how much the heat outside is like. Yes want aircon. But I see pretty much carpeted so this feels it is designed foe thr North. This place Chance went is in Pennsylvania. So thst is a northerner style hous. However the slant roof dssign and layout is vsry similar to the Philippines popular slant houss look to this one and yes layout is similar but.. lacks a maid room and storage room the Philippines houses have. Also no basement in Philippines (some area). They also are smaller there for far less price than they gave Chance here for American market and different materials too.

The layout seems nice, full featured and I like the option of that basement stairway preparation. Not, however, a fan of electric baseboard heaters I'm seeing throughout. Not because of any fault with them, but because they block the wall versus furniture choices like the book cases I'd inevitably be adding.

I think them are heaters but we don't have them in south GA but I think that's what it is. Them white counter tops with gray veining is my favorite! That shower I love it !!

It's a great house indeed! The layout is well proportioned, 3:37 - The kitchen island is a nice touch. 5:50 - Like how the utility areas are separated. 6:46 - Thats where the basement stairs would go. 7:27 - Great home office area. 7:45 - Though if you were to have a child or two up there (or potentially an adult or two with severe developmental disabilities/cognitive issues) you should get window alarms or attach a high railing on each window so they don't fall out. The potential bonus room could work great as a fourth bedroom, though the bathroom should be modified to make it easier for 3 or more people to share, or maybe add another bath. Maybe the bonus room could be an upstairs primary bedroom and bathroom. And at $230,000 and up, anyone with great credit and an income of at least $87,900 per year can afford it.

Those were baseboard heaters near the floor...in every room. Did you notice no central heating and no hot water heater. Had a tankless water heater next to back door behind 1/2 bath. Nice tour!!

Liking the house- Things not sure about- the plastic siding- Live in a Hail zone at a higher elevation with days that can get above 100 degrees. Need a bigger front porch- or a side porch. Would be nice to have a guest room but would I need two-- might take out a wall on the upstairs front bedroom and turn it into nice sized game room. Could live with a carport. Should have a shed carport deck option- yes would need a third truck. need a little storage for the garden tools, and a deck and a carport with possibly the electric car charging system.

This is a nice, and cozy home. I like the design. I didn’t see any vents in the floor or ceiling. What you pointed out at the bottom, is for heating. Baseboard for heating. That makes me think, that you need window air conditioner units!
