I'm sure that Christmas Fruit Cake (as called here in the states) tastes much better when homemade and revised from the traditional fruit cake with green candied cherries, red candied cherries and assorted other plastic tasting dried and candied fruits and peels. I have started making my own types of fruits and I can almost guarantee they'd taste way better than the commercial kind produced here. Thank you all for such a lovely recipe and I think I'd like to try it using my candied fruits and peels that I've done here. And maybe with my homemade Rose Petal Liqueur rather than straight Brandy. How divine. Lovely to see you all again and many blessings from my family to yours.
