Hallelujah!! God, I pray you help the is person in the name of Jesus! There’s nothing that you CAN’T do. Jesus, you are the alpha and the omega. Help them to trust you to deliver them, to trust you to help them overcome that addiction in Jesus name. Be encouraged. God set me free from pornography since I was 17-18. I’m 24. I was introduced to sexual immorality at 5, was bound and found pornography at 8. I was never able to break free. When I got baptized in the name of Jesus at 17, he stripped it away completely. I DID backslide, but I never had the strong temptation to watch it. If I did it, I didn’t really wanna do it. I just…felt like it, if that makes sense. BUT when I opened the door to i did put myself back in bondage. Jesus will set you free. Just ask him. Ask him and be honest with him. Be completely honest. Shut the door on temptation. Satan is very sneaky. It’s all like a chain reaction. My sin came through there’s doors: Idle time -> watch random KZbin videos -> get bored on KZbin -> video games ->TikTok (which has a lot of perversion)-> Netflix -> anime -> maladaptive day dreaming-> secular music -> eventually porn. Satan just tries to lead you further and further away from God and every door you cross, you add a demon which tries to bind you. Ask Jesus to help you shut the door. Pluck out that eye and cut off that hand like Jesus said. That means get rid of the source of temptation. Pray, delete apps, etc.

When he said he was praying at night and then getting up in the morning doing the things he didn’t want to do. I went through the same exact thing for two years pray at night. Get up smoke watch porn chill home all day and do nothing and a nighttime depression. All the anxiety will hit. Try to pray. Try to tell God I don’t want this no more next day go and do it again, but I thank you Jesus that my prayers answered submitted, and God delivered me from depression, anxiety feeling like a failure and smoking weed I think Jesus my Lord it’s only true relationship and truly getting to know Jesus

I thought my sister was to far gone she's a meth addict. When Chandler said That his family was praying for him for months, It really opened my eyes. We had a house fire(one room was damaged the most) and my dads friends daughter put some quotes from the Bible around the house and the one that is still up and I see it DAILY says "With God all things are possible." My puny little human brain cannot comprehend the Lords glory. Thank you Chandler for being on this podcast even though it is short, you helped me see Glory of God a bit more. Love the ending. There are some things that have been so easy for me to give up, and other things I’m struggling with. Me giving up pork was fairly easy, I gave up sausage and bacon immediately, but the hotdog and pepperoni side took a lot longer. Then simple things such as not getting angry at dumb situations and I struggle more with that. It’s weird how certain sins take more of a control over you than others.
