Belle is so right. The day my husband and I got married, it was so tiny and so inexpensive. But we looked at each other and the overwhelming peace of Jesus made us want to cry. Our union became blessed and we felt it so deeply. Our heavenly dad was like, I love this for you guys. I’m gonna use you both. I was so happy to no longer be in sin, but to be obedient to God. He has blessed us so much for that.

1. Moses • Mistake: Disobeying God by striking the rock instead of speaking to it. • Reference: Numbers 20:7-12 • Consequence: Because of his disobedience, God told Moses he would not lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. 2. Jonah • Mistake: Running away from God’s command to preach to Nineveh. • Reference: Jonah 1-4 • Consequence: Jonah was swallowed by a great fish but later repented and fulfilled God’s mission, although he struggled with understanding God’s mercy toward Nineveh. 3. Elijah • Mistake: Fleeing from Jezebel in fear and doubting God’s protection after his victory over the prophets of Baal. • Reference: 1 Kings 19:1-18 • Consequence: Elijah experienced deep despair, but God comforted him and revealed His continued plan through Elisha’s appointment. 4. Samuel • Mistake: Initially failing to recognize that God had rejected Saul as king. • Reference: 1 Samuel 15:10-11 • Consequence: Samuel mourned Saul’s failure but was later instructed by God to anoint David as king. Kings of Israel and Their Mistakes 1. Saul • Mistake 1: Offering a sacrifice himself instead of waiting for Samuel, acting out of impatience and fear. • Reference: 1 Samuel 13:8-14 • Consequence: God rejected Saul’s dynasty. • Mistake 2: Disobeying God by sparing King Agag and the best of the Amalekite livestock when told to destroy everything. • Reference: 1 Samuel 15:9-23 • Consequence: God rejected Saul as king, leading to David’s anointing. 2. David • Mistake: Committing adultery with Bathsheba and orchestrating the death of her husband, Uriah. • Reference: 2 Samuel 11:1-27 • Consequence: David’s actions led to personal and familial turmoil, including the death of the child born from his union with Bathsheba. • Mistake 2: Taking a census of Israel, which was seen as an act of pride and reliance on military strength rather than on God. • Reference: 2 Samuel 24:1-17 • Consequence: God sent a plague on Israel, resulting in the death of 70,000 men. 3. Solomon • Mistake: Marrying many foreign women and allowing them to turn his heart away from God toward idolatry. • Reference: 1 Kings 11:1-13 • Consequence: As a result, God raised adversaries against Solomon and eventually divided the kingdom after his death. 4. Jeroboam • Mistake: Instituting false worship by creating golden calves for Israel to worship in Bethel and Dan, leading the people into idolatry. • Reference: 1 Kings 12:25-33 • Consequence: God condemned Jeroboam’s dynasty, which led to its eventual destruction. 5. Ahab • Mistake: Marrying Jezebel, a foreign princess, and promoting Baal worship throughout Israel. • Reference: 1 Kings 16:29-34; 1 Kings 18 • Consequence: His reign was marked by severe judgments from God, including famine, and his dynasty was eventually overthrown. 6. Manasseh • Mistake: Reintroducing idolatry and engaging in practices such as child sacrifice. • Reference: 2 Kings 21:1-18 • Consequence: His actions brought severe judgment on Judah, which contributed to the eventual Babylonian exile. 7. Rehoboam • Mistake: Failing to listen to wise counsel and instead following the advice of his young peers, leading to harsh policies. • Reference: 1 Kings 12:1-15 • Consequence: This caused the division of Israel, with ten tribes forming the northern kingdom. Other Noteworthy Kings and Prophets • Jehoshaphat allied himself with wicked King Ahab of Israel through marriage and military alliances, which led to unfavorable consequences (2 Chronicles 18:1-3). • Hezekiah made a mistake by showing all of his treasures to the Babylonian envoys, which led to the future exile of Judah (2 Kings 20:12-19). • Uzziah (also called Azariah) acted proudly by unlawfully entering the temple to burn incense, which was reserved for priests, leading to his leprosy (2 Chronicles 26:16-21). In the Bible, even the greatest leaders and prophets made mistakes, but often their stories are coupled with lessons of repentance, humility, and reliance on God’s grace and mercy.

George and Shawna, THANK YOU! You both have helped me to much with this calling you have on your life. Thank you for being obedient! This is such a God thing to put on my timeline. My HUSBAND and I were just united in marriage before the Lord on September 26, 2024. We share a similar testimony. We already have 2 kids, a house and a couple years ago, Christ found us and made us brand new, but we weren’t married. Before Christ, him and I both swore we would never get married since we were already pretty much 1, just without marriage, and then God came in, and changed our lives and our minds! I had the honor of marrying my best friend in front of my pastor and my 2 beautiful children! Something only God could do! I thank him for the new life and freedom marriage has brought all of us! Praying for your union always! Yeshua is going to do BIG things with the both of you! 🤍🙏🏽

This video started out beautifully- glorifying the Lord for blessing your wedding, calling it His day, sharing your baptism, and how the Lord has blessed you abundantly and then you started glorifying smoking and getting drunk. Something the Bible states is sin and is so clear about. I thought I was watching a completely different podcast at that point. I pray the Lord reveals to you that doing these things and walking with Him don’t mix. We’re all sinners, but we should strive to not sin habitually and to live like Jesus. I would really be careful about what you talk about as you have a huge audience that could potentially lead some believers astray in thinking that sinning by smoking and getting drunk is okay. Keep in mind that you will be held accountable for the influence that you have and what you share to your audience. Romans 12:2 says “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” God bless your marriage.
@alejandrameza3968Ай бұрын
I was shocked!!! And flexing about the bar tab? The friend was high and acting a fool. How sad… talking about smoking like it’s totally fine to do as a Christian, honestly it’s irresponsible to glorify those habits to such a large audience that will think it’s okay to indulge in those worldly habits for the sake of a good time and celebration.

All marriages present challenges of some sorts but i recently asked my husband why he is so good to me and he could have answered something cheesy and flattering which i would have hated but he said “because Jesus told me to” and this phrase just blew me away. A man being so obedient to what Jesus told him to do, i felt like God was hugging me all over again with my husband (like you mentioned it felt after you got married). I understand you wanted to celebrate but you’re better than that, I also feel that getting drunk and high is sending a very confusing message out to new Christians that don’t know better. It ain’t it. Fight the temptation, you’re better than that

I would pray for you, george, when you would say i already feel like we are married, because i knew that it was so much more God had when you actually do get married .(in many things, I would and still pray for things so that the Holy Spirit can guide you. )Then I watch a new episode, and I see how God showed you and convicted you in that ! And that you say I was wrong shows your humility!!! Thank God for that!!

Hey George, Thanks for another great video. Love how you are so open about your own journey with the Lord. I recently got married and just wanted to bless you with a little something we got taught through months of pre-marriage counselling through our church. Ephesians 5:25-27. When it speaks about husbands loving their wives as Christ loves the church. The love we have for our wives is not a transactional love but a sacrificial love. Christs love is our measuring stick for how we love not how much our wife loves us or looks beautiful or cleans the house. That sets her free from thinking she needs to earn it. When she is having a bad day or season we love her just the same. She is totally set free from having to make sure she is up to scratch to earn it each day and us as a man have God as our ultimate example of how to love. I pray that you be Gods hands, His ears, His voice and His servant in your wife’s life. God bless everything the two of you do !! Love the videos all the way from Australia, please come some time, you too Cliffe

25:39 Pot smoking after the wedding. Romans 13:12-13 12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.[c]

I used to always roll my eyes when people would say their wedding day was the best day of their life.. then I got married. Hands down, the absolute BEST day of my life. There's something SOOO sacred about making a covenant before God with the women you chose and having your dearest family and friends witness it. I cried so many tears of complete joy. Christ is my redeemer and my marriage is proof. Biggest congrats Mr. & Mrs. Janko!!! 🍾

Congratulations! May God bless you both to lead a happy family life. I listened to your interview with Pastor Cliff from India 🇮🇳. 1Corinthians 13:4-7: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Thank you George about the Chat GPT use, It never came across my mind to use it to get a better understanding of the gospel. I’ve always had a hard time trying to understand and have so many questions.

So happy for you George, im really glad you see these blessings and learn how to be still and lean on God's word to deflect the enemy's voice. With that said, and with what you have learned about marriage. Its time to give up the lettuce because "You cant sleep". Its a lie. So trust God in all things you do, not just some things. Blessing brother so happy for you guys.

My husband & I’s story is sooo similar to your guys story. I would share more if I was able to do so without crying!!! I have never been happier for a brother and sister in Christ I never met. I prayed for you two to get married ASAP, for the glory of God, and now I praise Him and rejoice with you two. Marriage is such a gift. May God bless you and keep you near to Him together always!!!❤

I recently got married a month ago and it was 100% given to the Lord and was beautiful. It was in our heart to have no alcohol (and our budget but mainly because we felt it was what the Lord wanted. Our parents disagreed but we went through and the Lord truly blessed that decision as well as had our pastor share the gospel. My uncle ended up giving his life to Christ and we were told by MANY it was the best wedding they've been to and it was proof you don't need alcohol to have a full dance floor

A good advice in marriage is : realize you are ONE. you are not opponents. If one fails so does the other etc. don't compete with each other. And if you hurt your partner you are hurting yourself.

I love you guys so much, George. Recently discovered you and Ruslan's channels. You and Shawna's journey is so beautiful man. Take courage, both of you. It's refreshing to see two young believers own their mistakes publicly and continually putting Jesus on the Throne. I love that you guys keep it real, and you're not excusing your sins, you're modeling for us what we should do when we fail. God is taking what Satan meant for evil and blessing us bro. Keep those humble hearts, they're awesome! My wife and I pray a blessing on your marriage.
