for everyone saying #2 the starting QB for salpointe is bad, you’re dead wrong. he’s a sophomore who transferred from a school who went to the playoffs, and is now a 1-2 win team. In 3 starts he passed for 13 TDs and 4 ints, and against Pinnacle last week, he threw 4 TDs. He’s not used to the playbook and the speed at Salpointe, but I guarantee you when it comes to his senior year, he will be one of the best QBs in AZ. And the safety that picked him off is Gunnar Maldanado, a 3 star, who obviously has some skills to him. Bourget made a couple of bad throws, but some of them were from the pressure of Chandler, because they have the best front 7 in the state of Arizona. And Salpointe couldn’t run Bijan every time, even though he had 20 carries for 120 yards and a touchdown, he was held pretty well because Chandler is a nationally ranked team, and you can’t go into a game just running your best player, because Chandler has prepared for that.

You have 120 yards on 20 touches he should of got 25-30 touches the game plan wasn't right and there qb is extremely young he didn't start at his previous school his older brother did. They put to much on his plate when they should put it in #5 hands

Chandler are the 3 time 6A state champions, Salpointe has been 4A runner ups two years in a row. They are truly 2 of the top teams in the state.

Eric _______ bijan is a 5 star RB, if he stays committed to Texas, he will start as a true freshman. Lathan is a 4 star, he probably won’t start his freshman year but maybe his junior year he can. They aren’t just bums, you saw by how they played this game against a 16 nationally ranked chandler team

They had more rushing attempts as a team than passing attempts. The passing was just inefficient. You cant expect to beat chandler running the ball every play. You need a good balanced attack. They have the best front 7 in the state

Chandlers entire game plan was to contain Bijan, not stop him but dont let him break one for 20+ yards and other than one play, I'd say he was contained the rest of the game from the numbers he usually puts up. Hats off to the Chandler D. That really was no easy task and Salpointe made them work for that W
