JJ was one of the most dominate pass rushers ever, even through all the injuries he still was quicker than most younger guys he played with. But in his prime nobody could block him.

Watt from 2012-2014 was just absurd. He had great years outside of that, but that stretch was pure dominance. Loved that I got to see him make that pick 6 in the playoff game.

Probably the most dominant defense player in the last 20-30 years. The guy could just blow up an offense seemingly all by himself. I only wish he could've won a SB in his career. Not only was he a tremendous player but he seems like an even better human being.

First ballot hall of famer. Injuries took a lot from him, but at his peak when he was healthy, he has to be in the discussion of the top ten if not top five defenders to ever lace up cleats. In my time watching football, nobody has been able to take control of a game from the position like him. If his brother keeps it up though, he'll have some competition.

Onw of my TOP THREE ALL TIME FAVORITE PLAYERS to ever play. If he hadn't had so many injuries, there's ZERO DOUBT he'd have ATLEAST TWO MORE DPOY awards, probably 40-50 PLUS MORE SACKS. A MONSTER on the D-LINE. MATCHUP NIGHTMARE. Still a FIRST BALLOT HALL OF FAMER in my book. Would love to see him come back and coach somewhere, get his Lombardi trophy.

Gotta keep it 100. Saw this dude live in the Mercedes Benz stadium against the Falcons back in I think 2016 (edit excuse me it was 2015). Falcons beat the shit out of the Texans that day. With that being said, seeing JJ Watt perform live was a true honor and privilege. Dude is an unreal competitor. As big as he is, and he jumps off the snap quicker and more explosive than any other player on the entire field. Guy is the definition of dominant at his position. At one time I remember him being like #5 best player in the league ANY position because he was THAT impactful. We were all graced by this man's career.

Before the start of JJs second nfl season, Wade Phillips who was the texans dc at the time did an interview with some of the local Houston media. in the interview he basically garentees that JJ was going to be a hall of famer. which at the time sounded like an extremely bold claim.

A stat that I saw recently was Jonathan Greenard is currently on pace to have the 2nd most pressures in a single season with 108 behind 2014 JJ Watt.
