Thanks a lot for the episode Hoshang. Chandrachur (Rocky) was one year senior to me in school. Was a brilliant classical singer, cricketer and had a special flair for mimicry. We used to hear stories about him getting into films but nobody took it seriously. And then years later we spotted a photo of him shooting with Tabu. Like everyone else I was really excited when he made his debut with 'Maachis'. He had been introduced to Gulzar saab by Shivendra Singh, his classmate and now actively involved in film preservation. It's really sad that after such a brilliant start, things went completely downhill...! Due to his falling star value and poor box office draw, the producers of 'Kya Kehna' wanted to replace him with Salman midway as they were not getting any distributors but Rocky refused to sign the NOC and the shooting was stalled for six months. They eventually decided to continue with him.

D company favoring a particular religion made sure no infidel came in the way of ❤jehad. It was no co incidence tha Sunil sunny Akshay even Ajay disappeared for the moment and Gulshan left tye world. It was a war against hindu values through bollywood launchpad. They succeeded to a great extent. Thankfully then reliance and other mnc came in the movie business and removed the D company clout and then those stars came back.

Chadrachur Singh was an amazing actor and till date he can do better than most new comers! I was in school when Maachis was released.Chappa Chappa charkha chale was a song 🎵 in which he will be remembered fondly. Would love to see him more on the silver screen 📺

I remember when i was shooting for my big Bollywood movie 🎥 and staying in Mumbai,then Chandrachur took me to a festival, And also he went to a great school Doon school in Dhera doon and i had gone to Wynberg Allen school in nearby mussoorie in UK ,he was great guy and asked me a lot on health and Nutrition etc. SHINE......💪 THE TOP CHAMPION 🇺🇸💪🥇🏆🎥🎬🇮🇳

Chandrachur Singh was also offered a role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, He rejected that role which was later played by Salman Khan. This was told by Karan Johar himself in one of his shows.
