Thx for the review! My main concern with the 19 is the vintage gold hardware. I once owned a bag with that type of hardware and overtime the turn lock had discoloration. I ended up selling that bag. Hopefully Chanel is using better material for the 19.

Great video Amy, especially the styling examples. My cream also has no wear and tear so far. My only grip is the top handle falls to the back when I shoulder or crossbody it. But then again, that’s another look I suppose. Your black is more versatile and is such a stunner. 💕💕

@@rosieso129 no colour transfer so far (touch wood). I’m only 5 foot so it hits me low too. The goat skin feels coated. I got colour transfer after one wear of my LV bag in cream empreinte, my cream C19 is so carefree and I’ve worn it a lot since I got it in Aug last year.

Hey Amy! I’m considering between the small and the medium, but I’m 158cm and I’m a minimalist (I don’t carry much things around, don’t even carry a wallet! Just a phone and card holder really, because I don’t like touching cash or having coins with me) the medium is way too big for my things and the small is perfect but the strap is so damn long!! But the medium straps are shorter and is perfect for me! But again, the medium is too big! What should I do/ get?! Thank you!

I think so as I love mine! It just depends on what your goal is. Are you trying to get the most classic style first or are you trying to get the most practical everyday style? Classic flap vs Chanel 19, both great but different style goals.

Love your videos -totally agree about the classic flaps - I had 3 beige, red and black bought when they were $4500 to $4800. Never wore much and found too dressy for casual wear! Sold the red and beige and only kept the black. I have not been able to try the small 19 on as the Saks near me never has one in stock- What I am concerned about is the strap length - for crossbody -can you please tell me the drop length plus I notice you have small shoulders as I do - many say the strap does not stay up on your shoulder due to the thick strap at the top - do you have this problem?

Hi Amy. I’m so conflicted. I have 4 black Chanel. Classic medium, old boy chevron, reissue 227 and GST. Should I buy this c19 and sell my boy? It has the same vibe (edgy, fun, not too girly). I don’t really use my boy and GST. But because our covid condition, we tend to use small bag so I’m afraid of seller remorse if I sell gst. The boy was my first Chanel so a bit sentimental value. Amy, do you use a liner to retain its shape; I don’t want it to sag as it’s not my taste (others love that look) I bought the black 19 and I didn’t go into store and the bag had a huge score!! I think it was caused by the tissue wrapping. I exchanged it and no score, but when I got home I can see a tiny score. I guess I can accept that from lamb . My YSL medium puffy is a year old, not overly used and the front 2 corners are wearing away!! I’m hoping C19 is sturdier, as I had a medium flap caviar for 9 years with barely any damage. Sorry for so many Q’s x

I really like the look but I’m so worried it’ll lose shape(even with an organizer) in the long term. All my current bags are structured now because I’ve had squishy bags just look totally shapeless.
