If you aren't into slouchy, casual bags then the Chanel 19 isn't for you. Personally, I find the Classic Flaps too formal and elegant, and they don't suit my style. The gaps at the side don't bother me at all, because it all ties in to the bag looking more relaxed. I don't baby my large 19, and I have enjoyed the leather developing little creases and crinkles with use and time. It's because of that, that I am comfortable using it as a rather casual bag. I wouldn't feel comfortable running errands carrying something like a black caviar CF - but that's just me. Everyone is different!

@@athenaabarnes What do you think of the 22? I think because it's a tote it has a very casual vibe but the silhouette is still very clean. Or for crossbody I think a 2.55 has an edgier look which can be dressed up or down.

@@HaneeFannee I actually like both of them! I'm just not keen on the price points. The 22 is too simple to cost that much imo and the 2.55 cost the same as a classic flap (which was a splurge for me). At this point I'm relying on the seasonal offerings.

One of the first things I noticed about my Chanel 19 was the gaps in the sides. Compared to the classics, I realized it was just not the same and it doesn’t bother me. One thing that really annoys me is when people talk with an extra -uh at the end of a word.

I'd be terrified to sell through ebay. I need the protection of consignment or personally knowing the buyer. I don't know the ebay authentication process and know some have bought "authentic" superfakes. The realreal is an example of things being said to have undergone inadequate checks. Likely, a scammer wouldn't get away with anything but if they were to try, I mentally couldn't cope with the back and forth between myself, the bank, ebay and the seller as im not savvy with selling. Even if i take a bigger loss, I'd rather let someone else take care of all of it for me.

I get it. I've had my fair share of bad seller experiences on eBay years ago. I was skeptical, but their new authenticity guarantee process made me less so. Once the item is authenticated, the money is yours. The buyer has no claim to a refund, as the item is deemed to be as described.

I have a black Chanel 19. Yes, there gaps on the sides. I thought the gaps were there because it would be easier to store the chains inside the bag. Although I love my Chanel 19, I do agree with you that it is much easier to see scuffs and marks due to the large lambskin quilting. To me, that is the only downside.
