You just helped me make my decision regarding the size that I want. I did end up finding the 21a grey Chanel 19. First in the large, then after contacting a boutique in Las Vegas and getting connected with Chanel customer service, who sent a message to a couple different SA’s in other stores amd a message I left for an SA, I got multiple emails from different SA’s and got the medium in that grey as well. I go into the how because all I ever hear are complaints about customer service at different luxury boutiques, Chanel amd LV being among them. I am not a Chanel ready to wear client, amd most of my previous purchases were in Europe. But what excellent customer service and super sweet SA’s these were. And my SA in my home store is a doll! Just goes to show that most people are kind and helpful if we are kind first. Anyway, i love this bag hand held the most as well, especially in the large size. I was afraid I would only want to carry it crossbody (and the shorter chain is fine for my 5’2” height, but it is a bit larger than I prefer. However, hand held, the large is where it’s at for me. Such a statement. And the loveliest slouch! Anyway, to end my ramble, you helped me decide that for the right bag, the less convenient hand carry works just fine! Dayle, I just love your videos, your mature but still fun personality amd your point of view! Love your done but undone style as I am a more casual person who likes to look put together but with comfort. ❤️ from the USA.

It's a glorious bag! The size, the color, the tops handle, the mixed metals, the back pocket, all make it perfection 🤎🤎🤎 I'm on the hunt for the Ivory in the medium sz (as u know) as soon as I find it it's mine! Hi Dayle, I had a look at the Chanel 19 in the medium ( the smallest one) in caramel today. I do agree that it is beautiful and also a very busy and impressive bag. Cost £4220. I think it was not quite for me. I can’t put my finger on why, it just does not chime with me. I did buy a pair of black quilted black ballet pumps from Chanel today (cost £630). I need a size 35 and this shoe design in a size 35 is very comfortable and I like the almond shaped toe.

Welcome to the 19 club! I am a huge fan of the 19 bags and just my 4th in 21P caramel small same as yours is coming next week. Can’t wait! BTW I live in Canada and had to source one from Australia. I ended up paying more than retail because the retail prices in AUD are so much higher than CAD even when the FX is 1 CAD = 1 AUD. In Canada this bag is 6500 CAD, in Australia it is 8030 AUD on the Chanel website. Any idea why?

The Chanel 19 bag is growing on me. If the price in the medium size (I.e. the smallest one) was around 3000 Euros rather than 4200 Euros I might think about taking a chance and buy one. I am not sure if I think there is too much chain all over, but having said that the top handle chain looks nice and the multi metal cross body strap is really nice. Is the double CC clasp on the front too big? Well probably not and it is in proportion with the rest of the bag. Overall it is quite a busy bag although every element has a function. Quite bold design overall so at the moment I am in the fence on this one.

Such a fan! I my favorite colors are them isn’t beige (but I have a cream loulou puffer which is so similar to the light beige) and light grey. I told my SA I wanted one in the light grey. I may have to look in Europe or wait till the next collection for that color but I’ll find it. It bumped the trendy in grey to first place, so maybe a trendy in dark pink after the 19 instead. I have too many black bags also😂 and this one does NOT resemble an turd blob🤣🤣. Yours is the bigger of the two sizes, right?

The total strap length is 41 inches, but as it’s a bulkier bag you might find it tends to sit a little shorter than it appears. Also if you’re curvy it sits shorter than if you’re slim 😊

I'm the sort of person where no matter what bag I wear, it will always slip off my shoulder. I've come to the conclusion it must be the shape of my shoulders. I find that if I slightly bend my elbow and keep light hold of the chain/strap with my hand it really helps keep it in place, plus I have the extra security of my hand being there to catch the bag if it does end up sliding off.

I love the 19 and is the only Chanel bag that i would buy...if i won the lottery :D ( also the woc version of it looks gorgeous) I really like the style and i hope more bags like this will come out, hopefully with an adjustable or longer strap because i need to wear my bags crossbody ( i am plus size and some bags sit to high on me )

I just be careful jot to let it swing around or slip off my shoulder and bang into things... and the top handle is great for this. I have another Chanel in a larger quilted lamb and it’s worn so well and I was not careful at all, not in the slightest!

That color is just gorgeous! Personally, I am torn on the 19. I love the softer structure, single flap, and mixed-metal hardware, but don't like the CCs on this line for some reason. 🤦🏻‍♀️But I get that it needs to be something more than the typical CCs to balance everything out. So conflicted! 🙃

I like the concept of it but I rly didn’t like the mixed metals when I saw it irl. And the combination of the chunky chain with the puffy quilts and the chunky logo feels a bit too much.. so I’m not a fan though I can see it’s appeal
