I personally think, you shoukd give it a try. The Chanel 19 lambskin is not the same as other Chanel lambskin bags. The 19 is an amazing bag and very easy to wear. Also, all leathers from season to season vary, for example we might have two black lambskin minis one from 24S and another from 24C and they might feel and even look different. Not all cows are the same you know ? 😂. The Chanel 19 is actually a great worry free bag, bags are meant to be used, loved and make you happy babe, don’t be afraid to wear your bags!

I love my chanel 19. Mine is in beige,the small size and it’s in goat skin. So it’s more durable than the lambskin. I don’t know why it would be made in the Lambskin especially with the heavy hardware. Makes no sense. I don’t have that problem with mine though. I add a piece of felt on top of the bag then I place the chain handle on top of it.

@@youfancystephthey make it very occasionally but mostly in lambskin. I would suggest you research here in KZbin and you would see how many of us are really happy with our 19 bags even in lambskin.

I can definitely sympathize with you having two young children and as much as you might love this bag, you're at a different place in your life right now and its just going to collect dust until your kids are out of diapers. Have you looked at the YSL Bea tote?

I always order these bags online kislux , My items never have any issues. We should keep or money in our pockets & buy things that appreciate in value, like houses, stocks, bonds, etc.

My dear! I love that your husband gifted you the purse, it has a lot to say of how much he appreciates you and also he has the resources. I understand about practicity, nevertheless you may be practical while glamorous diva. It’s like you’re walking into a daily basis runway… Also the bag has plenty of space and fits so many things. You should give it a try for two weeks and after that take a final decision. I also think your husband would feel happy if you wore it too, but experience the glamorous mom, believe me! Not for anything but why would you be doing daily errands with a Chanel bag... lol. Nobody does that. You bust it out for special occasions. Many other lower end bags out there that won't give you anxiety.

Respectfully, I disagree. I actually do daily errands, go to my doctors appointment etc with my Chanel bags. So I think it depends, of course it’s easier for me because it’s not my first luxury handbag so I guess it depends 😊

I have literally NEVER dealt with scratching ANY of my lamb skin bags. Chanel or otherwise. ALSO: any “scratches” on lamb skin can literally be rubbed away with conditioner and a microfiber cloth. There is nothing delicate about that bag. Your fears are unfounded and unrealistic.
