I just got mine recently too. I asked my Chanel SA around summer if she has a Kelly available. At first she said yes, I was surprised she remembered that I was looking for one when she texted me that she reserved the Kelly for me coz that was the only one in Black, they have in that Chanel location. The bag was just so lovely

Amy, My S.A. said it’s no longer reserved. I was able to purchase a black one last week. When I went to the Rodeo Drive boutique to pick it up, there were quite a few on display. They were never displayed before and never made it out on the floor. So it looks like Chanel is making more of them? I actually had to pay over the phone when she texted me because it was the only black one. The others were pastels and everybody wanted black.

Yes I’ve been offered one and I’m really just an occasional client at Chanel. I declined it since I don’t even wear my mini Kelly that much, I know I wouldn’t go for that Chanel bag. But it’s way more available now for the ones who want it.

I think they were pretty similar so probably the angle but they also say that these are "hand made" so they could possibly be different for that reason :)

Congratulations! I knew it would be the black mini Kelly before you unboxed it! Definitely a must have! Been wanting one for about a year but my SA never had one available since they all go to the VIP clients. I am only 5ft tall so I do worry about it being too long on me. I wonder if there is a good way to adjust the length discretely. I know I can always use the clip that the SAs give. My big birthday is coming this year so I am trying to get one before then. A different question, I recently went to the Hermes store and bought the Kelly belt (first ever Hermes purchase) and the SA offered to get me a non quota bag. I was thinking about the Picotin 18. Would you recommend that as the first Hermes bag? Thanks!

I agree with you that the black mini is a must have; I hope your SA will come through for your big birthday! The Kelly belt is a classic and I think the Picotin is a good first Hermes bag as it is functional and timeless and won't break the bank! That's also why it is my first non-quota H bag in my collection. :)

Hi Amie and fellow subscribers, out of interest, do you or anyone have a white leather bag that has yellowed over the years? I bought the beige Kelly bag and could have got the white, but I was hesitant as so many people say their white bags yellow over time 🤦‍♀️😱 I am thinking if the black comes in I can exchange it, but I do love the beige colour as I have many black Chanel bags. The crumpled calfskin shows up differently on the colours and seasons. Mine is quite wrinkled, which i understand is the nature of the leather, but some are not as wrinkled, such as the white one I saw🤷‍♀️ 🤔

I saw both the white and beige in store as well :) I never owned a pure white bag from Chanel but judging from the Kelly Nano Shoppers I saw, I liked it enough that I would get a white one too. I also liked the beige since it feels a bit less risky but you should go with what your heart tells you :)

I’ve been waiting for this bag since it launched. Apparently it’s the last time they will release it. I was offered the khaki, but I held out for either black or pink (coral) which is meant to come this season, but I havnt seen anyone unboxing that colour🤷‍♀️ I ended up with the beige, which has a pink undertone . Enjoy your new bag 🥰 EDIT: is will be released for Metiers d’art, which will be instore in June apparently 🤷‍♀️ Also by then, it would have gone up in price AGAIN🤦‍♀️🤪

My SA is amazing and was willing to reserve any color for me including black but I have black coco handle so I opted for beige. I have white classic flap so beige was the rational choice
