One of my favourite frags ever right there. It's simple yes, like a well made suit. It smells a little generic now because of it's own success. Still it's quite a bit better than others in the same category.

I have been a fan of Platinum since the mid-late 90’s. And I think you are right as far as it starting the fresh somewhat aquatic vibe it gives off. I think it was before adg and Miyake like you mentioned. I’m pretty curious now as to what, if anything other than Cool Water, came before it with those same fresh characteristics.

Yes. Allure flankers are swill, Will. And not because they’re mainline, Fräulein. I’m not a niche snob, Bob. However, Allure Homme (which I bought when it came out and still have - don’t know what the remakes smell like) is/was superb, Herb.

Tobias Mober Allure Homme has turned to be a pleasant surprise after giving it a full wear. I should probably review it. 31 Rue Cambon all day long, I love it.

You should deffinitely check out Chanel Chance edp (but edt is quite similar actually even the notes listed are diferent) .It's my new deiscovery.It's very "masculine" yet modern.I wonder why nobody says it,but it's almost like Coco Mademoiselle,but less sweet - at least do my nose. BTW, I really enjoy your videos in the morning.XO from Poland.

I like your reviews plenty. I think you are genuine and passionate. I like that you don’t “genderize” fragrances, and that you openly say you wear fragrances marketed towards women. I grew up with Allure Homme. I owned a bottle within a couple years from the original release date, and it’s considerably different. The reason I say that isn’t too play the “vintage is better” card, but it’s honestly the reason I don’t care much for the newest version as much.

This stuff smells like Icecream, I absolutely love it! My favourite all time scent!! The bestest of all the flankers by far and that makes alotta sense because at the end of the day, it’s the original👀 very very underrated

I have worn Allure Homme since the late 90’s. Still own and enjoy it. It is a bit generic. If I want an Allure vibe in niche I wear either my Bois 1920 Classic or Xerjoff Uden. And I forgot there is another extremely rare one thats discontinued called Chanel allure homme fraichisantte eau l'teu or something really weird like that look them up I think on fragrantica for the spelling of that last one I've never seen it in person or ever seen it reviewed by anyone apparently its quite rare.

reformulation isn't the worst reformulation ever sadly you will need 1-2 extra sprays to last the same as the older stuff.
