Great review. I love the look of this bag, so pretty and fun. I think the cons that you have pointed out are justified and I think I would be cautious to buy a Chanel denim bag. But then at the end of the day it is a fashion bag and sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants! So I would never say never 😊

I’m a top handle girl! I’ve been keeping my eye out for a mini with a top handle. I find that is one of my biggest issues with Chanel is that so many of their bags are for shoulder and crossbody.

I totally see what you mean. For me a denim bag is one I would want to just use and throw around but it seems much more high maintenance and especially at the price of Chanel. Maybe reserve denim for less premium brands like ysl. But I have to admit she is gorgeous! 💙💙💙

Great review, Thank you. IMO, If you are a Chanel’s lover, you will get a tweed or a denim bag at some point. It took me awhile to buy a Deauville in denim, because of its size (too big). I almost bought the same mini square in denim, but I could not swallow its price. Recently I bought the Deauville (30cm) 22B, which is the best size for me, top handle and the price is reasonable (IMO). I am glad I waited. Enjoy your cute square mini, Kat! 💙

On a different note- I watched your recent video with Amy….and replayed several times the section where Amy was showing her Hermes Della C bag, and your face was fun to watch. It was twitching to burst into laughter, but you kept holding back. I fell off my chair laughing. It almost felt like the more Amy described her bag with love, you were more and more ready to burst out laughing…truly fun!

Thanks for the detailed review. It is a very beautiful bag, however, the cons outweigh the pros. I had up caught up in the 🌧 for one of cotton material bag, it gave some kind of funny smell and I had to retire my bag thereon. Have a great weekend!

I messaged leather surgeons about scotchgard and they said they do it on Chanel fabric all the time, so I sprayed my denim. It’s not a cure all but it will help. I’m very careful with my bags but you never know. 😬

I love cloth material bags because they’re light weight but color transfer and stains are constant concerns. Chanel denim bags are quite hearty so just enjoy it

Thanks for the thorough and honest review. Actually, the pearl bag that everyone is crazy about has a similar feel as the bag is made of satin underneath..nobody talks about it. Like the pearl bag it's a fun bag but I can see that the wear and tear of that pearl bag is also pretty delicate (not to mention how super long the strap is >_< ). For me, I think i'd have a hard time maintaining it unless it was black, but indeed they are fun to look at. I'm also not into the denim on denim look, on top of the maintenance issues. Nevertheless this looks a fun bag!! Great video babe!

Did you consider the large size? I tried on the mini in the boutique when it came out but it was pre-sold to someone. I loved how soft the denim compared to the other Chanel denims (had a stiff black boy denim that I never used). I see several on FF and can't seem to decide on which size but know it won't be the black one as I prefer the blue. Thanks for the review!!!!

I have a vintage LV denim bag is excellent condition. I am very careful with it for all of these reasons!! I love it, but is a bag I do need to baby when using. I have a few of the new Coach denim pieces - am more carefree with these items due to price point.
