Thank you for telling us that you are going through a rough patch in your real life. Please don’t worry about putting up UTube videos. Your subscribers will understand. Do it when you have the head space and when you are in the mood. As a recent retiree in Singapore, I have gone through many rough times during my career. Changes at work are not within our control. You are a responsible and professional worker. I am sure you will be able to learn and adjust to your new portfolio and overcome whatever difficulties you may be facing. My only advice is, even tho you think what you are now doing is not your cup of tea, put in effort and do your best. Try to remind yourself that it is just a job, it should not define your life. At certain stage in my career, I just do what I need to do at work and find enjoyment in other aspects of my life. Hope things will get better, take good care of yourself. ❤️

Kat local jeweler has more gold to it. Shops like Poh Kong or Tomei gold is 22K where else all the branded ones the most are just 18K gold. Meaning to say more gold and cheaper but 18K gold less gold and more expensive due to the name. If one does not need to get branded or buy for the sake of purchasing history in your case Hermes, go for local jeweler. Even the resale value is better i mean let's say one need to sell it 5 years down the line or even longer years down the line. Gold prices will go up but those branded one, once is worn, it depreciated a lot in the resale market and may even not be in demand. Thanks for sharing 🤗

There is quite a good Coach bag that's recently out that's like the Row's Margot. It also comes in different sizes. I'm sticking with what I have for now but the price is very reasonable.

So let me get this straight. You can't bring luxury on holiday? You can't wear luxury to work? You can't wear it in public places for fear of being mugged? You have to be careful to not flaunt it in front of family and friends? When the heck ARE you going to wear the stuff?? On special occasions? On weekends shopping? My view is if you'e not part of the 1% spending a lot of money on this means you are not going to get value for money by definition.

So true , I think it’s the fantasy of wanting to do all of the above, but there is fear is losing/judgment/etc. it’s a mental hurdle to jump over, which I think , overtime we get over it coz “life is too short to worry”. I guess , at least for me - I haven’t been able to jump over the hurdles but maybeeee in a few years from now when I don’t care or have better things to worry abt ? 😅

@@KatL Well...I don't think you really took my point which is they are not hurdles they're reality. The point is to dress appropriately and people often imagine a fantasy life when buying luxury. I like quality but at the same time have always been careful anyway, since the situations where I'm likely to wear that stuff is pretty limited. And the reality is people really ARE getting mugged/followed home and robbed/being judged as wealthier than they are etc etc. These are practical considerations and they're very real. I noticed the wealthy started to go less visible several years ago. There is less flaunting going on. If they're changing we should think about it too. Clothes are becoming simpler and the aesthetic is just more about essentials and for the wealthy you never dress inappropriately, you risk looking absurd.

If people were honest and aware, I think everyone feels like an imposter in one way or another. That’s where “fake it till you make it” came from 😂.
