Wow, so courageous of you, loose pigments on the eyes!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Looks beautiful dear Abby!!!! But i can think about it, they are not in Europe yet. The quads are, the Imperiale, i skipped, not my colourstory. The 2 lighter quads i swatched, so far, gonna use soon! You show them so beautiful, gonna watch the next video for sure! What i did use already, is the Parure Baroque, i wanted the green, and it's beautiful, beautiful quality as well, which is always a surprise what you get, even at Chanel. I find these quads so much better than the tweed collection, i really like these (have 3) but this formula is much more smooth in my opinion. @@AbbyBlissWhite aww thanks so much, but i really mean it, loose eye pigments...goodness i don't know yet Abby, but maybe, i am still an eyeshadow addict! Yes, have jewelry from my dear late mother in emerald, and it's hard to find a beautiful one. Pat had one in her Mothership 1. I could not handle her formula and other formula's like this anymore, gave them all away. But in the meantime, Chantecaille came with that Tiger single shadow! It's almost the same as the emerald in the PMG 1, and of course so much softer for the eyes! But even eyeshadow does not last forever, so, the last years i look extra for an emerald of good quality! Well, these Chanel quads are super quality, Chanel does not always do it, but they did it, really! I was afraid for that red shade in the Parure Baroque, Abby, it's not red, it's a sort of brighter/deeper pink, which i also do not like but i wanted the green! So i did put some neutral brown eyeshadow in my crease from an older CDP quad, and than mixed just a little bit of the "red" colour in the crease with it? Why? Because YOU learned that to me, these kind of tricks, i'm so greatful for that!!! Further, but i am a bit lighter than you, i did put the special shade of this quad in the inner corners, the emerald of course on the mobile lid combined with the lighter gold/green shade. I bought a back up at Chanel France cause it's gorgeous! O, don't worry about a comment not seen, i also can feel uncomfy when KZbinrs give me a nice reply and sometimes i see it a week later, not always, but sometimes it happens, i'm so chaotic Abby!!! Hi Abby! Thank you for featuring Chanel’s new loose powder eyeshadows. The neutral shades you chose are quite flattering on you. Thanks in large part to your previous video, I went to my local Chanel counter today and picked up the Parure Cristal quad along with two Coco Bloom lipsticks (the collection arrived in Canada last week). I picked Cristal because the darkest shade is a mid-tone - and I never use dark shades. I am considering the other quad you are also featuring here (318, Parure Vénitienne) because it’s also light. I did see the new LE blushes, which would pair really well with the two darker eye quads, and both are far too pigmented for my skin tone. I do think this fall collection is very well curated and a winner for Chanel.

This has been more of a Spring launch for us in Australia. I lost all control and picked up all four Quads! As much as I like a nice soft look, I do love to play with colour and due to being a special launch from Chanel, I couldn't resist them all. You do need to wear the darker Quads with more pigment applied to get them to stand out. There are shades, such as in Baroque, with the red and green that cannot touch or they become muddy. Many see this palette and it reminds them of Christmas, yet forget about how they're going to apply it. I've been witnessing some disastrous looks with these Quads as so many are afraid to get in there and really make that pigment intensified. I think Chanel did well by supplying the options of two quite vibrant and more editorial palettes and then the two much softer ones. The latter can still be built up, it's just that no-one has dared to do this yet. I would have thought the 'younger ones' buying Chanel would want to build up these looks for something quite different, alas not yet. They're all gingerly dipping in with loose fluffy brushes and obtaining no real pay-off. You chose well with Cristal. From all four, this has to be my favourite to use on its own. As for the rest of the releases, I'm channeling plenty of will-power as I've been buying far too much! Hope you love your palette!💖

Hi Abby! Always a pleasure and great interest in seeing the new collections on you. I’m happy to see the pigments are luminous and not sparkly, so they are good for mature lids. I ordered the deepest pigment shade, kinda a purple-black, I don’t have a color like that in my collection. Remember the Noir Laque lip gloss from Halloween a few years ago? I used all that up and never left my room 😂😂 The pigments remind me of Bobbi Brown’s “chalk” pigment sticks from the 90s which I still have. They came in a little slide-open cardboard box. These mineral pigments will literally last forever if we don’t use the applicator. They are not like the liquid Laques from a few years ago that dried out. Ok and I bought the purple blush and purple 160 Wild Bloom lip. So I’m all set for the DEAD zombie Halloween look 😂😂 Actually, I will probably pair the pigment with a red lip to get that smoky messy nightclub look that is so French-style. Poor Twiggy…her mascara wasn’t great. 😅

There has been so many new releases that I'm swimming in eye-shadows and lipsticks! Chantecaille doesn't sell to Australia, except through Mecca who is usually many months behind with new releases. The prices are also so high that I've honestly had enough of waiting so long to receive releases and paying so much more than everyone else. I came to the decision after this collection that if Chantecaille is going to continue to ignore us in Australia and New Zealand, I'm not about to support the brand, especially at those prices and with quality that isn't any greater than any other brand I purchase. I was so impressed by Chanel's Byzance Collection of Quads that I bought all four! I didn't want any regrets and they're all so beautiful. I just bought the Isamaya Ffrench Industrial Palette No.1 from eBay, as her brand has only just started up, so I can understand them not selling to us just yet. I simply couldn't miss out on this first one which appealed to me more than the second. Of course, I want the second too, yet it will have to wait. I've never spent this much on an eye palette before, so I'm treading carefully with new releases. The Prada Collection is intriguing, yet I'm told it may not make it here until next year. At least it gives me time to save for them, as I love every palette and want to try the lipstick too. You certainly need will-power when loving make-up!💖

Yep! Sycomore for the WIn! Easy one and done color. The other is pretty but I need to play with application because my eye "real estate' can get pretty muddy pretty quickly. SO I try to keep things on the lighter side. AND YES! Pink me UP is a definite YES for you. It is pure delight - not too heavy- not too light- is just a very likeable happy fragrance and a bit of a crowd pleaser!! I am 99% sure you would love that one. FINGERS crossed!! xoxo

Great review of the loose shadows! They look very pretty, but I don’t know if I would be as adept as you with the application. I guess you could tap the shadow on your hand as you mentioned and then pick it up on a brush. It is nice that they are very pigmented though. I have a quad in Spices that I bought in the spring and I can barely get any color on my lid. I happened to be in a Dillard’s last week while traveling and it had a great Chanel counter. I saw the new blushes and the Coral is calling my name. The quads you showed look beautiful! I thinkI’d go with the second one as the colors are right up my alley. Thanks so much for sharing these products! It really helps when you can’t see them in-person.

LOL! Julie- you saw me doing a first impression and I am not sure I gave the shadows any justice with the way I applied them. BUT they are not hard- I just needed to tap some off before applying and then I would blend out with brush. AND yes, that Corail looks SO pretty! I am so glad that you find my videos helpful. Also, when I swatched the dark mauve blush in the store, I was pleasantly surprised that thee color pay-ff was quite light, so it won't be overly dark if you don't want it to be. I prefer cream blushes these days, so I skipped them..Looking forward to your playing with them. Enjoy!

I’m very interested in the powdered eyeshadow especially the lighter one but I’m not sure I will be able to apply it without my whole face getting fallout at worst and big blobs at best (which really isn’t best!). LOL! That is true about the Twiggy reference. I am not sure if I have a lot of younger viewers but TWIGGY was and icon. I think if you tap the shadow on your hand before applying you will be fine. The formula is sort of creamy powder. So there is a little fallout but not if I tap off the excess first. I hope that helps and let me know what you find. xoxo

Yes it does! That is funny... because I was like this color reminds me of something and thought it was copper in Chantecaille Mermaid but it is more like Tabac but at least for me... easier to use than Tabac. I would say tap on hand first to get excess shadow off the sponge but then they glide on so easily and WEAR all day. I hope this helps. xoxo

Hi Abby! Gorgeous colors on you . As I have said you and I have exactly the same coloring and wear the exact colors. I didn’t go to the boutique but I called and they were ridiculously strange- “ can’t comment on the collection so I couldn’t tell if they really don’t have the quads. Bloomingdale’s does have them but for presale only and I think they are getting to Nordstrom. Should I try to order from another boutique? I did get the blushes and with a light touch they both work . As always thank you for your wonderful review!

I'm not really that interested in the loose pigment shadows. I can see them suitable for others to use but I have very small eyes. The applicators appear quite short and stubby and I feel it would be hard for me to apply directly to my eyes. They look nice on others for a fairly simple and natural look, but they're just not for me. I much prefer using my brushes and grabbing a palette than getting all of these together. I have to live for whatever is most convenient. I love the look of the mauve coloured blush! It's exactly my colour as I tend to veer towards shades that are the colours of nature. I adore the leaves embossed on them as well but I'm afraid ours have fallen many months ago and are awaiting them to grow back for Summer which appears to be coming early with the past month full of sunny days despite still being Winter! I don't tend to use much blush either and have a fairly well rounded collection of all the colours, and more, than I will ever need. I was tempted by the Quads, but I'm holding off on anything else. I'm trying to anyway! I'm sure you'll do the next Vénitienne Quad justice Abby. Seeing that green sparkle across your lids will be a joy. It doesn't show up too much on camera, so feel free to add as much as you can! I want to see you shine from here.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨💎
