Wow thank you so much for a detailed review! I want to get this bag but I’ve seen a video and the leather peeled from the straps! Do u have that problem? Do you wear this bag often?

I haven’t worn this as much during the summer (too heavy style-wise/I wear mine in the cooler months to balance with bulkier sweaters and coats). However, I wore mine a lot last fall/winter and just pulled it back out a week ago (looking at it right now actually) and the larger leather part of the strap shows some wrinkling from use/looks aged like the calfskin part of the bag, but it’s not peeling (and the leather woven through the chain looks the same as the day I bought it). No issues with mine 👍🏼

I have a Gabrielle in this size, and yes the leather in the chains of my bag peeled quite badly. I had to get them completely replaced. But I still love those bag especially more so now that it’s apparently discontinued?

If a medium has 4 vertical diamonds how old is it ?

Since Chanel changed the naming structure/sizes on this style, I’d look at the serial number to determine how old a piece is, as that’ll be more accurate. The first 2 digits of the serial number can give you an indication of the year it was produced.
