I forgot to mention: I plan on taming the bold pink/Purple and Orange with the matte blushes from the fall collection. I am loving this palette. For me the magic happens on the cheeks when you mix the orange and purple. You get this gorgeous bronzy Colour which I love. Mixing the pink and orange gives you a vibrant orange. This formula is wonderful, it’s such a light veil of colour that can be built up, really nothing to be afraid of. I skipped the highlighter, mostly due to the size of it. Had it been a smaller one I would have bought it. I wish there were more videos showing people how to enjoy this collection. Obviously everything is not meant to be worn together. The fushia lips are more suited to a neutral eye or smoky milky eye eye Thanks Angela.

If you look back to the Christmas release from Givenchy last year, you will find these colours from the Chanel Palette in that one. By Terry also released a colourful Christmas Palette last year too. I'm afraid that this Chanel Quad isn't anything new in the way of colours. I have no issue at all with the shades in this Chanel Quad, but it's the over-sized palette that I have a problem with. If it was released in a regular size, I may have contemplated buying it. I'm glad that Chanel is delving into colour, although they will not always get it right and haven't. Their Byzance Collection from last year was so beautiful that I bought all four Quads. This year, I purchased the nail polish in Charmer that I'm wearing right now, both of the liquid eye-liners which I find rather easy to use and control, plus the liquid lipstick in Cristal Pink that isn't anywhere as bright as it may appear in promotional material. My biggest issue with Chanel is with these ridiculous over-sized products that are nothing but waste. No-one will ever get through one of those highlighters in several lifetimes, so what is the point? A cash grab. I was glad to see the liquid eye-liners, especially in the two shades, yet the rest of the collection wasn't all that interesting to me. I'm not a great admirer of Holiday Collections, yet Dior certainly did well this year and I purchased several products from their Collection. When the Givenchy Collection finally arrives in Australia, I intend on getting the eye palette and both lipsticks. I only just purchased their Couture Collection that includes L/E Perfecto Lipsticks x 2, Perfecto Liquid Balms x 2 and a Pressed Powder in a light shade. All pieces are wrapped with pale pink leather with gold hearts embossed onto it. I also received a lovely pink Make-up Pouch to match the collection. It's such a shame that the Holiday Collections were released so very early this year. Usually, I have something left to put under the Christmas tree, but I'll have everything by the time my decorations go up. Now, we have the Black Friday Sales to face, which seem to have already started. No rest for the weary.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

I love this palette and this season colors. In order to understand this palette better, I strongly suggest to make it be presented /applied by a Chanel beauty person. He was capable to make me totally adore this one. He instructed me how to create the right shadows and lights on my visage. The final effect reminds me strongly the John Galliano maison Margela porcelain doll collections for this winter season. So totally approved. Chanel beauty brand staff was instructed for this season products precisely. This product is a real miracle.

There are less pushing products now than for one year ago. Many had openly Aldo said they Will be more restriktiv what to show. Chanels boutiques aren’t really crowded anymore. Many have stoped overshop too. In my country there are extreamly few products gets soldout. This collection will be no exception. I love this palette and have bought several products from the live. But the liquid lipstick was crap! So drying and not very glittering

I just received this collection. I love the shadow /blush. The highlighter is overspray, as you explained, so I just wiped it off and now it’s a beautiful pink/gold highlighter. The liquid lipstick in pink crystal is so beautiful with my fair toned skin, I went back and ordered 2 more.

The beauty of Chanel eyeshadows is they blend together so well, to create a new colour. Some brands get a muddy look. This one gave me huge reservations merely because I’m older but for younger people I was very interested to see what you did. I bought last year’s eye and blush palette and I’ve used it a lot. I like the look you created. You made it very individual by adding the highlighter, softening it so much. I much prefer this look to the more dramatic one. I may dig out my highlighter I don’t use on my face these days and see if I can utilise this tip.

I completely agree that it was a mistake to make such a large palette, maybe I would have bought a smaller one... I was interested in the liquid eyeshadows from this collection. today in the store I was able to test them on my hand. When you apply it with an applicator, it's almost black, uninteresting, but when you start blending, a scattering of coloured shimmer appears. But you can't blend too much either, because the base colour turns into dirt on light skin. I think that on darker skin, these eyeshadows will look gorgeous!💜

I bought the palette and boy, it’s a beauty! So versatile for face and eyes , love the texture. I plan on using this along with a beige single. I added a new plum liner to work with it, and may also use a blue black liner and mascara as I plan to keep it simple with a sort of single color wash, then a liner/mascara accent. I’ll use this to accent my cheeks too and will mostly wear a pale pink lip. I purchased a few of the new nail polishes too. I’m looking forward to a fun season. Cheers!

I agree with your thought that this is not a face palette. I do think you did a nice job making it work on your cheeks though. I think the pumpkin/orange would have worked as the highlight on your eye look on the lids instead of a highlighter - maybe for spring as a nice sunset eye look. It would have been a nice bright touch. I won't be purchasing anything - I just don't need as much makeup - trying to use what I have - but I do use your videos and try to use what I have and dupe those colors with the new releases (hope that makes sense). I don't have a KZbin channel, and I don't collect makeup, so don't feel the need to purchase all the new releases unless it is something really unique and I don't think there has been anything super unique in a while - so I just go for duping with what I have. Still trying to find a much loved discontinued eyeshadow shade that was a dark purple with a hint of red/brown :-)

This palette looks stunning on you, Angela. I like the colors as blush and also feel like incorporating the orangey shade would make a lovely sunset eye look. This is a definite purchase for me this year. I don't usually like metallic lipsticks as I have a very small upper lip and somehow feel like the metallic emphasizes how small my lip is so I would definitely go with a more matte lip for myself. I wanted to mention that I got my Clarin Oleo Serum Foundation finally. I had hoped to find it in Seattle when I was there but all of the Clarin counters looked at me like I was speaking a different language and one representative even snidely asked me if I was at the right counter because they have never had that foundation. By the point in the day, my daughter was fed up and she brought up Clarin's website and showed the girl what I was talking about and no apology or anything, just, "We have never had that here. I have never heard of it." So, long story short, I ordered on-line and got it about a week ago. I really love how it looks on my skin. I do think it has a bit of a learning curve as the first day I applied too heavily and while it still looked good it wasn't what I was hoping for. The next day I applied a very sheer coat and then built it up where needed and initially, again I was disappointed but went on with the rest of my makeup and by the time I was done, it had melded into my skin and dare I say it, my skin has never looked better. Several years ago I used a foundation from a Korean brand called Chosungah. It was strikingly beautiful on the skin and at that time I was in my late 60's and I am not exaggerating, women would stop me on the street to tell me I had beautiful skin and ask what I used. At my local drugstore, a young woman was behind the counter working and she was about 18 or 19 and she said, "I see you in here all the time and your skin is so beautiful. May I ask what skincare and makeup you use?" I told her my skincare but also told her that it is all in the foundation I am using. I told her that I get it from Korea and her face fell. I also told her that it was not expensive to ship from there because at the time it wasn't. Within six months Chosungah had stopped making the foundation that I loved. I hunted high and low and found 3 cannisters in Australia and a friend from there purchased them for me and mailed them to me. I hoarded them for as long as possible. Eventually they were gone. Now, I am not sure it actually looks as good as the Chosungah but then, I am many years older. I will be 71 soon. So, I am very happy with the Clarin foundation. I have dry skin and while it is comfortable to wear, it doesn't make me feel greasy and it isn't overly dewy. A little goes a long way. I am not sure oily skin people will like it. It does have a different scent. It smells sort of grassy or herbaceous to me. Definitely not floral or vanilla. My only complaint is that the lightest shade is 01 and it is a hair dark on me for summer even, so I don't know how it will fair over the winter. I will have to bring it down my neck. I did find the Dior stick while in Seattle and must say, I love that also. I have been using both in my daily makeup and use the Dior stick almost like a concealer as it is the right shade for me and up against the Clarin it is brightening. I wasn’t going to buy this, but I got it last week. You convinced me to give it a chance when you posted that you got it. I did try it out in the boutique, and I couldn’t resist. I managed to get some softer looks from this palette, and the colors and formula were nice!! I also got the lipsticks too. I didn’t get the highlighter because I don’t gravitate towards pink highlighters.

I did not buy the eyeshadow and highlighter palettes for holiday only because of their size . I love the beautiful pink and purple colors and the highlighter color but just do not like the large size palettes . I did buy the rose boreal lipstick and I love the color and packaging . I have the medium coral and rose gold oversized face palettes and even though I love them , I just hate the large sizes . They are harder to store and I will probably never be able to use all of the palettes . I definetely would have purchased this collection if it would have been regular sizes .

I just bought this palette (Enchanted Night) today and tried it as a face palette. It worked out beautifully. One thing about Chanel is that you have to under its beauty theme and culture. I often say that it's NOT Natasha Denona; Chanel gives you a fine, subtle beauty that is so nice and decent to look at FOREVER whereas Natasha Denona is more like a BOOM. If you were to use Chanel and expect the result similar to Natasha Denona, then you might be disappointed. But this palette is pretty good for its quality and beauty. I LOVE IT!!!

I agree with you on the Chanel palette that they should’ve offered it in an eye palette - however, look on the bright side; It’s a much better value than the eyeshadows! So much more product for money.I was kind of negative on it at first, but when I saw how beautiful it looked on a darker (Pacific Islander) skin tone I realized a few things; first, it makes Chanel more diverse and inclusive, which it has not always been - thumbs up Chanel! Secondly, i didn’t realize until I saw that video specifically how the colors blend, and the lovely sheen they have. It is truly enchanted! So (after dissing it at first) I ordered it last night! Cannot wait to try it. I heard someone liken it more to a Pat McGrath look, and I can see that - I’m a collector of PM.

I love your reviews but even you can’t change my mind. I’ve been a long time chanel customer- even before Les Beiges existed at all. And this is just so tacky and so not Chanel. It’s a brand identity problem- this is Pat Mcgrath poorly executed. Li keeps doing these bright anime/ gaming culture colors. Paravina wants to be Wednesday Adams, and who knows a thing about Drameh. They need 1 person with a coherent vision. Chanel is not supposed to be fads. Sure I’ll wear the glitter bomb palette for one night. Just like I wore that mermaid highlighter once to the beach in summer- but otherwise they sit in the drawer, whereas the rest of my chanel stuff is regularly used and loved for daily life. One fun collection, great. If it becomes the norm, then it’s a brand problem.

I feel this way. ALL of the luxury companies. Chanel , yes most definitely, are gearing their makeup towards the younger crowd. The colors the new formulas (YES Givenchy ruined my beloved powder I wore for years. I’m 63) the Nina Pucci collection, I mean, it’s sad. Once again , the mature women who have used and bought luxury makeup , want the quality ingredients , etc , are being ignored it’s all to the younger women. It’s marketing and PR. The quality isn’t there as much like it used to be. The term luxury isn’t a feel anymore.

Love you're content❤ I think i will buy the palette, the allure laque in pink and the allure l'extrait in rose boreal. Still doubting about the liquid eyeshadow because i am pretty pale, but love the color. Loving the pinks so much,😍 you showed a beautiful look and i hope you will show us more looks with this palette🍀. I have also seen a review about the highlighter. In that video they made a comparison with the diamond dust highlighter and the light and berry highlighter from the summer and it looked pretty similar (after the over spray is gone from the diamond dust). Have you also noticed this or seen comparisons? I am wondering what you're thoughts are about this... Much love Liza
