Just a recommendation, femi adds polygel to the whole full cover tip. It makes the nail stronger than if it’s just applied to the area the natural nail touches

EDIT: I had my baby girl on her due date, October 13th! This man has helped me soooooo much this last month and while we were in the hospital. He might not buy me gifts, but he loves his daughter so much. Even after he's worked so hard at work, he still comes home and takes over taking care of her so I can get some rest. I'm honestly so thankful he's here. Lol, I didn't realise I wrote this post a couple days before having her. Your husband is so sweet. I'm 40 weeks pregnant on Monday, carrying a whole baby, and my fiancee hasn't bought me anything or done anything sweet for me. 🙄 But love the nails and the new bag!!

Tell him about push gifts. He’s a man. He probably thinks the baby is your gift. Give him a list. I was horrible at buying gifts. I’m so much better now. We give each other gift lists, including pictures, the stores, and prices. Some people thought we were crazy. This way we know what each other wants. We don’t know when or if a gift is bought from the list so there’s still an element of surprise. I hope this helps. Congratulations the baby will be here soon.

Hey evie! Love your channel! You mentioned you have trouble hand painting things, I'm a nail tech, but i am also an oil painting artist and if I may make a suggestion using a smaller detail brush might be much easier for you doing stuff like the channel logo. Its hard to control the long striper brushes. I have detail brushes in all shapes and sizes but my go to one is the young nail detail brush. Its perfect for me! I hope this helps! Love the nails!

@anon e muss the kiara sky mini flash cure lamp will make it so much easier. The clips will push some of the gel out and cause the problem with bubbles again

@anon e muss yeah loads of practice will make a huge difference. Use your finger and maintain pressure and slowly move it down the nail as it is curing so that the light can cure the gel. From what you are saying you are doing a good job so far!

I’ve been doing this method as a replacement for the kiara sky. I fill the polygel all the way to the tip inside and it doesn’t need a lot of filing/shaping.

Since they’re soft gel, they should soak off with acetone.

If you use polygel you won't be able to soak them off but if you use builder gel in a bottle you will be able to soak them off, cut off the length then remove the top coat layer then soak in acetone for 10 - 15 minutes, use something like a lint free wipe and soak it in acetone, place over the nail and then wrap it in foil

Ellie Shockley you can soak off polygel lol same way you soak off acrylic or builder gel.

@@denishapetillo2241 polygel is like hard gel, it's not meant to be soaked off, but it can be done if soaked in acetone for a long time, like 45 minutes but that's not good for the natural nail or the skin and a lot of filing needs to be done first

Yes!!! i was just thinking about using poly gel and you confirmed it. Using builder gel would make it harder to cure. trying to avoid those air bubbles and holding down the nail is hard lol. And instead of using a nail file. Try to use a nail dehydrator to etch the inside of the nail (the underside becomes sticky and uneven as you push the nail dehydrator into it). Less dust and and helps the nail adhere better to whatever you use.
