I feel like overall Chanel’s offerings have been on the warm side with all of their cosmetics recently (except the purple quad a few releases back). I hope they make some cooler options.

This was the best review on the new collection, super helpful to see the comparisons to old colors. I agree, still way too warm. I really want neutral blue based nudes! Demi mot reminds me of a lighter version of mademoiselle which looks very dated and old fashioned on my skin tone. I ended up w illusion, mis a nu, inattendu and alter ego 💕

And brun et rose could be similar to some shades in Viseart's cashmerie palette, which I have. The new intensite quad appeals to me as well!

Oh, Lexi - you had told us in a prior video that even the cool nudes from Chanel ran warm and you hit that nail on the proverbial head! Still, I did purchase 194, Sensibilite and while I am a bit disappointed that it’s on the peachy side, I can pull it off with my summer freckles. Still, I’m hoping that one day, you’ll be sharing an armful of cool pink nude Chanel swatches and I will be screaming with delight. Thank you as always… your swatches are the best in all of KZbin and your new camera really captures the colors perfectly. You also look like you had a wonderful vacation - rested and so pretty!!! ❤❤

If I could only have one, I’d choose 198 Nuance.♥️ Adore it, but I am waiting on two additional Sisley sheers, Petal and Coral. I’ve fallen down the proverbial Sisley rabbit hole. Hey girl! Okay so after your video I went to Nordstroms and saw my friends at the Chanel counter. I picked up 209,199, and 214 and I am in LOVE with them all! Thank you for the arm and lip swatches. I think they’re all going to be too warm on me unfortunately. A lot of pinky nudes turn orangey on me and it’s not pretty. lol I hope one day they release a mauvey nude in this formula. I am hoping to get my hands on a tweed quad though.

Tom Ford Sugarglider might be what you’re looking for. Chanel nudes also have a tendency to go orange on me, but Sugarglider is a perfect rosy nude.

They are fairly close imo. Brun Celeste is definitely cooler but I think they are similar enough that both is not necessary unless you wear them all the time.

My first two were 199 and 214, but I went back and got a bunch of others. Do you think 204 and 214 are close? They looked like it in the swatches. I passed on 194, 204, 211, and 215. For some reason the peachy coral shades just don’t do it for me. Per usual, AWESOME video. Thank you!

You know, it's crazy but I have the worst luck with Nordstrom SAs too. I had a great one who left a couple years ago and since then I have the same problem. I meet someone who seems so helpful and then I never hear from them again. Maybe my local store has had a lot of turnover recently or something.

I have waited for your review about this lipsticks color plus swatches, I comes to conclusion( personal opinion) that I dont need to run ☺, those are beautiful , thank you dear for swatching old shades, comparing with other existing colours.I took snapshots and I saved for future purchase , I go for permanent line, because the place I live right now doesn't hold limited editions products, if I order outside it definitely cost more than actual price . That's the reason for not getting limited editions, nail polishes are amazing can you guide me which one is limited and what are are colors same as old once ,thank you ☺🤗🤗🤗

That's interesting, I have a warm golden undertone to my skin and both the shades you mention were my go to colours for years. Maybe they are actually neutral if they suit both cool and warm undertones? Food for thought. 😀

Was wondering how Or Beige ( Holiday Collection 2020) and Rouge Allure Velvet Le Lion de Chanel Beige Ardent compare. I have these 2 shades and do not want to double up. Thank you so much for these swatches, helped me a lot to pick ones that won’t be duped of others I have already. I am afraid that 204 is too close to either incognito or a Diorific mat 890 I picked up a couple years ago fingers crossed I picked well. Is hard to choose when I can’t search them in person. Thank you! It's a tough choice but I think you might be able to return one of them. That being said, if you wear nude lipsticks a lot, it might be nice to have both options depending upon your skin tone.

Hi Lexi, the only shade I really liked was Nuance. I tried Demi-Mot and it did nothing to flatter my skin tone. I am waiting for the #58 palette which I think may be flattering. Several of these shades look lovely on you. I think I need more pink tone vs brown. I do love many of my Rouge Allure lipsticks, past collections suited me better. Thanks for such an in depth and color centric review. I won’t be using most of these new shades.

You give the best swatches hands down . I did get 198 and 199 and on the fence about 214. Funny they have a lipstick called caractere and I remember getting a rouge coco 45 called the same name yet look a bit different. Hate when they use the same name . It was a limited edition going back at least 6 years or more. Anyway I am with you I wish they would do cooler nudes not always peachy stuff. I am so over that.

@@LexiJong one thing I did forget to mention was, well I know how you feel about Lisa Eldridge lipstick and you were not going to purchase any of the new ones. Can I just say how lovely for fall the colour Meet Me In Berlin is? It is a really nice brown sand great for fall . So after going thru my colours I may now pass on 214 , still thinking haha, with having that shade from Lisa Eldridge. I have had no issues with breakage with all the ones I have . I have a good sun of them and so far all is well.
