Loved. I have to admit I went through a Channel time a while back. I fell out of it and have yet to reenter. Coco,Christalle.no19,no22,no5.I think I wore them too often and all edp.I was too young as well (My nose).I feel it is time again.I need to take much time and explore.Here is you Happy Sniffing and enjoying..❣

I recently smelled Chance edp and edt. They smell too similar with coco mad. Not sure if I need to add any of these since I have the coco mad and the patch in coco mad is not that harsh like in chance. The eau fraiche tho... OH MY GOD! Still in the dry down I get coco mad vibes but in a more playful way! Love it 💚 I regret not smelling the eau vive.

I don’t know if you’ve ever tried Hypnose by Lancome. It is one of their discontinued, but most loved fragrances. I just got my hands on a full sized bottle and I’m low key in love lol... a must try at least. Love your videos.

Have you tried Gabrielle Essence? It’s very beautiful and versatile, but more special than the original Gabrielle which was underwhelming to me. Worth a sniff if you prefer their more mainstream scents.

yes I enjoy both of them but the Essence for sure is really lovely! It's one I sometimes think of adding but I'm trying not to bring too many in right now lol - I was trying to cull down and now have bought 2 new vanillas! lol

I get what you’re saying about Tendre. I go back and forth with it. I hated it, then loved it, then got half way through a 1.2oz and something was so meh about it. Now I mix it with Kayali Musk and it seems to work for me. Have you tried Chanel Riviera? It’s a beautiful citrus floral, so juicy but like most citruses it doesn’t last long but comes in a 4.2oz since over-spraying is expected.

yes I used to own it, it's a bit mature and a little bit dated by about 20 years ish I feel - but still so beautiful and chic. I just didn't wear it enough or think I would wear it enough compared to the others so I passed it along.

Do you tend to buy the 50ml bottles? I'm thinking of buying a few Chanel perfumes and I know the 35ml won't last me long but then not sure if 100ml is going to go off before I use it all.

Another one I think is beautiful although it is an older fragrance since you mentioned Chanel no. 5 is Caleche edt by Hermes . Although a lil dated I would not mind wearing it. I actually think older fragrance were blended much better and better performance from the 1980s-2013 before a lot of perfumes got reformulated.

I keep hearing about the Caleche fragrances - I would love to try them. Admittedly I'm learning there are alot that I haven't smelled yet! I have a few on my wish to try list.

Hi Ilythia! My OG gave when I was a teenager was Coco Chanel EDT. Currently I really am enjoying Beige and No.5 L'eau. Still trying out Coco Noir and No. 5 Eau Premiere samples. Bought a decant of the Coco Mademoiselle L'eau Privee. On the fence about that one. Sometimes it smells like fishy? (I've read that elsewhere; it's the patchouli with something else?) Great video! Glad you got your 2nd vaccination!

I read that “fishiness” might be a caviar note that Chanel doesn’t list. Try the EDP or EDT.

Can you suggest a good Chanel to start off with. I didn't care for Coco Mademoiselle. I know I'm in the minority with that one. I kept hearing that the Chance line would be a good one.

I would say Chanel Chance EDT is a great one - or, if you prefer something more light and floral, the eau Tendre EDP or EDT - some people have a preference there. I personally don't love the eau tendre but it's a huge seller. I think the Chance EDT is a perfect fragrance that works for so many ages and just a great everyday scent.

i don’t like the tendre!!! i want to but it has a powdery floral vibe that gets very strong at the end ugh especially on a warm day. also the fraishe is very cedar woody but sweet as in lemonade sweet i feel

I regret buying Coco Noir. It reminds me too much of Coco Mademoiselle, which I am not a fan of. Yesterday I smelled Chance Eau Fraich and the opening was very masculine and off putting. Going to try Chance EDP and Eau de Toilette again. Also tried Gabrielle Essence and it was pretty but for me, not full bottle worthy. Coco Eau de Toilette remains my favorite Chanel fragrance.

when you tried the eau fraiche was it on paper or skin? I was offput by it as well when I tried it on paper. I had to take a couple of times and a few months with it, and now I absolutely love it.
