Happy Saturday mink. What a beautiful, versatile little bag. The size is perfect and I love the two different straps. Thank you for your review. Before learning about LV, I wondered why anyone would spend so much money on a bag with the same dull, dull print. Once I researched the brand, I was hooked. *condup*

Beautiful work,as always. Now, I know that people will fuss and say it's not a true Chanel. They go jump in a lake. That was her Grandmother's bag. To bring the bag back to life made it worth more, than the bags Chanel offers now. FYI $3200.00 is a bargain. You can't get a black Classic Flap in leather for less than $9000.00 from Chanel.

You are so meticulous in this reconstruction. For the effort that must have gone into it I think the price is fair. I don’t know what these bags originally cost or what they go for now, but at the very least she now has essentially a brand new bag.

@@christopherfeatherley I really like the design.
@christopherfeatherley5 ай бұрын
@@NJ-Cathie me too! I assume it was discontinued because, from what I can tell, it's meant to be worn like a shoulder bag, and one of the hardwares would rub against your clothes -- and thus wear down the gold plating. Still, I think it's a very neat idea, especially if you just hold it like a top handle by wrapping/folding the strap/chain in one hand

Heat damage much..... (sigh)... I can remember back when houses were heated with floor furnace systems. Literally a natural gas furnace hanging from the floor with a large metal grate over it... a terror to parents of crawling and other young children. Items set on the floor too near the furnace would get damaged. The shrinking of the leather reminds me of those floor furnace systems.
