I just received the pearl WOC in lambskin and gold hardware as a gift for getting into law school. I haven't wore it yet but I love it! And the chain is adjustable and I can even wear it around my waist!

I was able to get my WOC in caviar leather but in limited edition with "chanel" embedded unto the grains. Got the matching card holder too. Mine is 5 yrs old now and still in brand new condition and I keep it on my shelves with all my other bags.

Thanks so much for sharing! I purchased a WOC in Jan 2019 and I was second guessing it because mine was so much more matte than the ones I’ve seen online. I was feeling like I had gotten one of the “less desired” batches and maybe should have gotten lambskin. However you have changed my mind about that and made me appreciate the matte finish more, Thank You! Mine is very puffy and soft like yours. I originally got it for date nights and travel but it was so light weight and functional that it became an everyday bag. I want another but the price increases are off putting.

I almost bought a Chanel WOC before the price increase as a panic buy but they only had very bright colors left. I knew I wanted something more neutral so with a heavy heart, I walked away from it. So glad I did because I’m very petite, 4’10 1/2”, and there’s no way I could’ve overlooked the long chain. I know there are hacks to shorten it but if I’m paying thousands for a wallet, It should be adjustable. I did some research and ended up purchasing the Gucci Supreme Dionysus WOC. It’s much more spacious and even though the chain strap isn’t adjustable, it’s removable so I can switch it out for something shorter if I wanted to.

I hear you, the non-adjustable chain can be a dealbreaker for many so it’s important to take that into consideration. There are other variations of the WOC that are adjustable, but they’re also more expensive, which for me, at that point, the price doesn’t justify it. I'm with you on the minis...Add to that, I don't like the bulk. I carry my medium classic when I want to carry a bag, otherwise the woc is perfect for everything else, even a formal occasion as a clutch.

Wow. This was a year ago and no one’s showed that they changed the zippers!😵🤯😝✨ So I know how u feel. I wanted this woc years back and procrastinated to get this one or classic flap. I have big regrets because I still want it and it used to be $2,100 😫😭😭 Sooo.. thanks to COVID everyone freaked out and I got an amazing vintage 25k 🤩 gold flap but still want this one. I think u just sold to me why I should still buy it and new. Because I was considering preloved so I wouldn’t baby it but u really don’t on caviar my opinion. The reason I want this one is because in Houston there’s been so many robberies at malls, streets for handbags. That’s why I was wanting something less flashy with the logo.

I do still love it and yes, I do have a couple of CFs! IMO, they are two very different bags with two very different needs. I definitely gravitate towards the WOC for quick grab and go days and I like how close to the body it sits. If the WOC is too small for you, I’d recommend perhaps a mini rectangular or square!

I will be curious to see what you think of it after you use it. I tried it on in the Chanel store recently and with minimal things in it, it kept popping open. The magnet was not very strong at all. I’ve spoken to others who have the same problem with their new wocs. If I decide in one I will either get a preloved one with the snap closure or a style that has a closing clasp.

I haven't noticed that happening but it's certainly a possibility. Ultimately it comes down to what you're comfortable with the most! For me, I've been wearing mine without shortening the strap and it's been fine for me, I'm okay with the length!

Do you find that you can pair the WOC with most things in your closet? Do you enjoy using it? If yes, then keep it for sure! I have a few silver handbags in my collection and I love them - it’s good to have variety :)

I have the iridescent beige 19s version and love it! It’s such a beautiful and versatile taupey-beige pearlescent color and I like the larger ccs on it. It’s so soft and puffy and seems quite durable for lambskin since it’s grained lambskin. I actually sold the black caviar gold hardware combo for it, but now I want the newer magnetic version. Not sure I want to pay $3k for it though!

Did you buy yours directly from the boutique? If so, Chanel has changed some things around including putting a small chip in your bag instead of an authenticity card/serial sticker. You should be all good! But def check in with your SA or call the boutique to make sure

If you buy directly from boutique then no worry about authenticity! And yes, Chanel did make some changes. My newest Chanel bag I bought was beginning of May, it was a classic S flap. And it came with plate chip with unique serial number, no more authenticity card or the matching number in the bag like my previous Chanel bags. My SA told me this new feature came with bags that produced starting in May.

Will these problems occur if these bags are used daily? I just purchased a metis clutch in monogrammed canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the colorful polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, haha. But I don't think it will be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in the DA but only use it a few times a year in the spring and summer so I don't put much wear and tear on it. I hope I don't see wear and tear for a while. Plus, I'm saving up niceshopx . Have any of your colleagues experienced the same problem with this size?
