Edit: Really long comment btw 😣 Hey Zeez! I understand where you’re coming from during your rant in the beginning. It really is difficult to excel at the game while having a negative mindset. I have been at your situation, believe me, and it took me quite a bit of time to handle my mental health after, which caused me to lose interest in idv. However, I reluctantly came back to the game because of nostalgia. Through it all, I learned many things as I continued my journey to reach high tier. Although, I’m not high tier right now, I know a few tricks that may help you as a hunter main! One trick that I still fail to do is the tinnitus trick. It’s very complicated as it involves a bit of math. Basically, you need to think tinnitus as a circle. Once you lose tinnitus, you know you’re at the edge of said circle. To find the approximate location of a survivor, move until tinnitus appears, step out until it disappears (point 1) move a certain direction in a circular way, and when it appears again (point 2) find the midpoint of first and second point, and walk in the direction you were facing (the direction where tinnitus appears). It efficiently works when the survivor isn’t moving, usually when they’re waiting for dungeon or feeding tinnitus. Another small hunter tip that Kuroshiro taught me, is the struggling speed of survivors. When you pick up a survivor and they struggle, you need to count the side step thingy hunter characters make until it reaches 5. That’s usually when survivors struggles out. This trick is for when survivors camp a pallet, and you’re not sure if they’re behind it or not. If you have headphones, and your pursuit music is off, then you can hear survivors breathing heavily. It only applies to those who have been running constantly, so supporters who harass the dead chaired teammate, and the survivors who you choose to chase. If you play merc and prospector, you can hear it VERY clearly, and it’s annoying sometimes 😣😣 Sorry if my wording doesn’t make sense, I’m not that good at explaining my words.. But, I’m really excited to see you improve as a hunter!

I did always enjoy your content, even if you were complaining or flopping, bc it feels nice to know I’m not alone in feeling like I’m disappointing myself with how I’m playing. But I really hope you can improve to the point you won’t be disappointed ! HEY ZEEZ! just wanted to pop in to say that dont be so hard on yourself! not everybody expects you to preform to the best of your ability as you’re still learning how the game works and how to overall scheme! and its okay to mess up, make mistakes, because you can look back on those and realise what you need to work on! i promise you things will get better with improvement, and things are already looking so much more cooler! aaron had totally gave you so much advice that you can understand and work with, life saver… and dont ever stop saying (character) gaming, even ive picked that up from you, as well as the silly nicknames you give to survivors, my favourite being donch overall, youre doing amazing as you were before man! its all about fun and taking your time with how to plan out a strategy, even i learnt a thing or two from this video that can enhance my hunter gameplay! overall, if you ever do feel pressured from idv because of you panicking, step away for a little bit! itll only cause that pressure to build and build and that wont be good :< what i like to do to calm me down from those is to play custom gamemodes! things like ctf, friendlies, its a really nice breather to have from all the intensity of all the competition overall, amazing start to your new journey man! im proud of how well that advice and theory worked out for you, youre doing great man! :D

Yo Zeez so i discovered your channel just a few weeks ago and started idv just like a month ago but I’ve enjoyed your content so much, i really liked personality and commentary and found myself learning so much in so little time. One of those things being that most people who are incredibly good at this game have at least 3 years of experience minimum and to find out you are just 1 year in and have come so far is something you should be really proud of! Honestly about your complaining i rarely found it bothersome or “cringe”. It just seemed pretty real and close to how i myself feel like when playing. What concerned me the most was how hard you were on yourself, how even when you played very good you expected even better and couldn’t focus on the good that already was there, so im glad that you are finally trying to change that! Aside from that mindset i don’t think you need to change much. Your recurring jokes, editing and personality are so iconic already and honestly i couldn’t imagine not hearing your “gaming” or “if that was me” jokes anymore lmao

Idv can be really frustrating when you get really competitive, it’s important to connect with the things you enjoy about playing and not get too tilted as well as remembering there’s no shame in taking breaks ❤

37:34 I'm pretty sure using windwalk like that was on purpose. The reason for this is that, windwalk starts by giving you 24% speed boost, but that amount depletes with time. With that in mind I believe XC refreshed the speed boost on purpose, allowing him turn around that corner quicker. That way he could dash towards the cheerleader earlier and get to her before she got to the pallet. The only reason why this strategy didn't work, was bc cheerleader got the pallet speed boost and the speed boost from her ability. So yeah technically a mistake from the hunter, but not bc he re used the windwalk, instead bc he didn't account for pallet boost.

I was going to comment about your little intro rant but so many people have already said what I wanted to. You’re a very lovely content creator and player, it just takes time to learn. As an artist, you should understand that there will be pauses and progression stunts in your skill! Same with video games too. Talking down to yourself out and inside of game is more detrimental then your perceived skill level! 🩷It’s good that you’re going for a more positive outlook on yours and your opponents gameplay!

The problem with IDV is it's a mobile game at heart. It is designed for the matches to be super short like 7 minutes. This is one of the reasons why there is a bunch of broken shit running around the game. The huge hitboxes, the super short ability times, hunters being able to make it across the map in seconds, hunters being able to pretty much lockdown the chairs. I have respect for people that are good at the game on mobile. If you play on PC everything feels way to broken. I wished they would branch off and make a console and PC version of IDV that way they can balance the game more and make the matches longer that way they can tone things down. I don't ever see this game being balanced or feeling balanced with the current way they go about designing the game. It's one of the reason I can never take the game to serious and it's wild to me that they have an Tourney scene in this game. But playing on PC is probably one of the big reasons you get frustrated cause you can feel and see how broken a lot of stuff is with all the bandaid over powered shit they keep adding and why a lot of the older hunters and survivors feel super unplayable in the game. But that's a huge reason in my opinion why you feel bad about the game and complain about stuff. It's the big reason why I complain a lot of times and why I always have to take long breaks from IDV all the time. Anyways good video as always.

I keep watching your streams and I have one though on my mind The thing is, there is many things that’s relays on luck, your ping, first chase , hitboxes, even my coa players are making mistakes, because this game is unpredictable, you can’t play really good all the time ( or really bad all the time ) From my perspective, you play really well, those mistakes are unnoticeable to be fully honest And complaining is pretty normal thing to do, ofc there are people who get easily annoyed by that, you can’t do anything about it , sadly, but your main audience loves you the way you are You keep getting better and better at the game, by playing more and getting more skillful, don’t overthink it, good luck in your journey zeez
