Beautiful work as always. I have to ask, have you considered trying to find some type of moveable barrier to keep the much away from your machines on the side of the room? It seems like you use as much time and water cleaning that area as you do cleaning the carpets.

A barrier is never going to catch everything, they'll spend more time moving it around and cleaning behind it than it would be useful. Ideally, the floor would be slightly tapered towards the edge where it falls to the sump, so the water naturally flows down. This would have had to be done when the foundation slab was poured. Doing it retroactively would be hideously expensive. It looks like this warehouse was converted from another use, probably a shipping/receiving dock.

@@GGigabiteM I don't intend this to be rude, but they already did that. Their floor IS tapered (look around the 14:20 timestamp, left side of the screen, notice how all the water is flowing in the leftward direction), for that exact reason. A steeper decline would make work dangerous.

Wow what a pattern and such colour . Never would have guessed a carpet could hold so much crud and gunge . That was an epic amount of rinses and just as much scrubbing with the machines. Is the water recycled and treated as you use such a huge amount per carpet .
