Why can't the organisers have a small box ..sort of Tel booth for the ladies to change..easy to set up just beside the court..n put aside when the game starts.

Then it'll take even more time for the players to get to the booth to change. Remember, players usually play around 40mins to even up to 2 hours for one match. Plus not all players change their clothes at all during their match so its not really necessary

@@justhenryquek I think you are missing the point here. The main reason why they don't change their clothes is because they can't do it in the open. By installing a change booth or something, women can change them comfortably. Only Nozomi has learnt how to change her clothes using this technique. In video you can see that both she and her coaches are a bit awkward about it and it's also quite uncomfortable as a woman. There are so many women players who are drenched in sweat and can't do anything about it but continue playing the match. By installing the changing booth the situation can change. Atleast, BWF can propose for the installation of a changing booth for a tournament or two and see if the players opt for the space. If so, we can keep the changing booth or else we might scrap it.

@@eddyededwin I get your point, which is why I said that we can install changing booths in a tournament or two and see the response. If the players do opt for that space, we can go ahead and install them in the other tournaments too or else we can scrap it off. The whole idea is premised on the fact that the players aren't comfortable changing their clothes in front of the public. And most players, in my opinion refrain from changing the clothes for the very reason, no matter how sweaty and sticky they are.

Not least becuz its not necessary ( i mean what athelete can geniunely say they arent conformable with sweat?), but i cant imagine a player would prioritise it when they are competing all out. can u imagine okuhara going into a booth to change and for her coach to wait for her for 30 secs before coaching in a 2 min interval? just sounds daft.
