How long did it take for that customer to come back due to a leak again? Putting in that seal with whatever you had all over was a no no. Those seals have a coating on them to install dry for a reason just fyi.

Hello sir, loved your video I subscribed for you. I have a few questions, 2010 Yukon xl 6.2Liter LS engine. If the front seal is leaking/blown. Would oil pressure go to zero? Up to 10 down to oil warning light? Or would you think it’s the oil pump that caused the front seal failure? Thank you. I changed the lifters and the oil sending unit so it’s not that. Oil pressure is almost nothing

Probably the oil pump or the oring to the oil pump causing your low pressure issue

You figure the exact problem? I installed a high volume melling pump and that helped. That pickup tube O ring too. You also have a filter in the oil sensor that may plug. Other than that, worn/bad main bearings or Collapsed lifter/lifters leading to bad cam.

Good morning Sir, Ref my '00 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS 4.3L V6, I was told that I need to remove/replace the rear main crankshaft oil seal due to a leak on to the starter which this shop replaced, but to do so the transmission needed to be completely dropped. Is that true?
