Did this job today on a Megane 3 1,5 dCi 110 hk 2013. I removed the wiperarms (marked alignment with tape on windscreen), the two rain scuttle-pieces and the air hose from the O2-sensor/air box. Early on I took some pics of the enginebay just to have some guidance on how to reassemble. Recommend that you do the same. Then unclipped all contacts obstructing and was then able to reach down behind the engine and could even see what I was doing. First dismantled the pressure sensor (one nut) to reach the backside of its contact and unclipped this one. Then pushed the pressure sensor against the torpedo wall and could see the two bottom clips which I moved upwards with pliers. Bit tricky. Now I could remove the unit with hoses attatched. My short one was broken, the long one intact. Got new hoses from Nissan (they use the same engine in some models) with the numbers described in this KZbin-clip. The short hose was exactly the same as in my car but the new long green hose had a too large large diameter at the end facing the sensor. Didn’t stay in place so just changed the broken one. When reassabling I first clipped the sensor contact back in and then tightened the nut to hold the sensor in place. Then with the top clips in place over hoses I slid the hoses bottom ends of over the pressure pipes below. I succeeded in sliding the clip down on the short hose but not on the long one so used a hose tightener with bolt instead. Lots of contacts to re-clip and the rest is pretty obvious.

I have the same car year and model. I get the check anti pollution system 24/7. if removed.. is back again when car starts. In addition when I release the accelerator (after a few min drive ) I get the check injection system. I did a dpf cleaner in the shop. ran regeneration program and test drive. the shop can't find anything or know what to do. doesn't even reply to my text. I already paid 400$ for nothing with this shop and still can't figure out what I need to do.. any pointers? would really appreciate it

@@AshleysAquaticum-rm4rg5.37 into the video you see a green and and a black hose that run from the DPF and are known to crack and the air leak causes fawlty fuel mix and a yellow engine light. One hoses was cracked in my car, but could only be felt with my fingers, not seen. Changed it and all fine! This problem should give problems with lack of power, for instance when overtaking. Power returned when the hose was changed. A long shot maybe but could be worth looking into.

I am doing the same job now ,on my mk3 scenic, what a painfully awful job for one rubbish quality pipe , reaunlt haven't even botherd to upgrade the pipe , which they know is a common fault on all models ofthe1.5 DCI engine, shocking really, and the cost in the UK for the two small pipe s is £65.00 totally a true rip off, Thanks for your very helpful video, very much appreciated.

I just did mine, all I removed was the air intake from the air box and the EGR valve, gave me plenty of space, relatively fiddly but straight forward, hardest part was getting the broken half of the pipe off the bottom but it comes off eventually with a bit of fidgeting and patience, I got some generic 6mm high temp hose from a motor factors. Just want to add that I've never worked on cars before and found it fairly straight forward, took me about an hour in total including time it took to cut new pipe to length, also if cutting pipe to length ild advise to take 1 pipe off the sensor at a time and cut it to length as the pipes are different lengths

Which car? I have just filmed my Megane 3 1.5dci whit an endoscope. And one of the hoses are cracked. I was able to get my hand down there and allso to the low end of the hoses. Like you wrote, I allso think maybe I can change the hoses without disassembling anything.

I have a DF016 EGR Command Circuit,Short-Circuit To +12v Active and a DF089 Inlet Manifold Pressure Sensor Circuit,Permanent Low Level Active on a Renault kangoo 1.5 DCI the car won't start and the glow plug light won't go off when I put in switch I don't understand is the car in limp mode what can I do to fix it I doesn't have injector pulse

I did this with Megane III 110 Hp 2014. I did not remove the wiperarms. It was possible to operate with mirror and light. There is no need to remove the battery in 2014 Megane. only the air hose has to be removed. As MN told the other hose was not compatible with K9K 636 motor. The shorter one seems to be the one that breaks. The other one was OK, no need to change that one.

remove the lhs 3 engine mounting bolts and slide/push the engine forward 30mm, makes all the difference to reaching in to grip the pipes.

If you remove the raintrench instead of the airbox, you will work easier.

Yes, but much more work. And you Will not gain very much. And I still think you need to remove the airbox to get best access to the downside of the hoses.

@@Jola76 This depends of the car. For a Renault Mégane 3 the engine configuration is different. You do not need to remove the air intake pipe and the battery. Just to remove the pipe between the airbox and the engine and the raintrench. It takes 20 minutes to remove these parts. The advantage is that you can SEE the sensor and the hoses, so it is more handsome to replace. Nevertheless thanks for the great video that is helpfull anyway.

@@alangordon6461 I've got a reno megane dci hatchback and dpf warning light came on in last few weeks. I put some dpf additive in the the fuel tank and brought it on the motorway for a 40 min spin but warning light still on. Do you reckon the problem is that the dpf is blocked or that the tubes from dpf to sensor are damaged?

I’ve got same fault code p1453 but it’s says fuel tank pressure relief valve fault Dacia Duster 1.5 dci . Notice the connector on top of filter was melted a bit so I’ve replaced it but still same code and fault . Where is fuel tank pressure relief valve???? Any help much appreciated
