WHAT IS DISCUSSED IN THIS VIDEO
Corneal Tattooing has actually been around for centuries. In more recent years, it has been a procedure that can help the cosmetic appearance of corneal scars or white corneas. It can also help with symptoms of glare and light sensitivity in those with iris wholes or defects. Lately, using a femtosecond laser, which is the same laser used in a Lasik procedure, it has been used to change the color of the cornea, which changes the appearance of eye color. Outcomes have been ok, but there isn't any long-term data with this type of keratopigmentation, and it is currently not fda approved in the united state. Other procedure options include silicone iris implants or laser depigmentation, which both can possibly be more dangerous, and is also not approved in the United States.

Absolutely not. Idc what color my eyes are as long as I can see and they’re healthy. I think it is sad that people think they need to change their eye color to have pretty eyes. It just isn’t true. Some of the prettiest eyes I have ever seen are brown….

It’s actually very well established and the most safest, well conducted way to change your eye color. The genuine and obvious question is long term effects, they say it’s been done by 700+ people and is deemed safe for 20 years counting. However cataracts are possible in the realm of 30+ years having this. It really comes down to knowing if the long term safety of this is definitive.

I had the brightocular implant in my eyes and it caused severe damage to my eyes like glaucoma and iris issues and deformed pupil I had to get 2 glaucoma surgeries and then someone told me I should do keratopigmentation because it would help me see better I got it done and the esthetic part I don’t like but it does help me see better and has improved my quality of life

I use colored prescription contacts and instagram is recommending it to me a lot, but I found it so weird the way most of them end up looking, the way the eyes are tattooed is circular, theres no detais to ressemble the iris natural patterns, in the moment I thought that i could get that procedure, I reminded myself that I'll need to use contacts anyway to be able to see, and I can get them any color I want.

Just had it done on Tuesday in NYC by Dr. M . He presented a paper this Friday in Boston at an ophthalmology conference . I had a successful precedence, please don’t call it tattooing, your regret that terminology when it becomes main stream.

I have green eyes and it's definitely overrated at best ill get a "your eyes are pretty" but in some cases people find colored eyes actually scary or creepy. However this is my experience vs millions of others.

Almost every photo you showed were obviously done very poorly. I’ve never met anyone who has had keratopigmentation that don’t have natural looking eyes. In the pictures you showed the dying process was obviously done poorly and the people have unhealthy looking eyes already. I know multiple people with it but their eyes look natural almost like colored contacts but even better.
