Not saying she “missed” a note but she changed the vocal melody a lot - it still sounds great don’t get me wrong. It really hit me when she got to “I watched you change,” in the original, Chino pitches up about a half step to a whole step iirc & it’s like my favorite part of the whole song & here she jumps down instead of sliding up. Not saying it’s bad or that she did wrong, just that it’s different.

Change is such a trippy song because the instrumentals are amazing, but the vocals are so good at moments you don't even hear the instruments for a second; but then they come back in and it's BLISSFUL. And she accomplished that with just a guitar. Amazing.

I have the same opinion of Johnny Cash's rendition of "Hurt" for similar reasons and he's not a girl. A simpler version that does a great job of capturing the original's mood. I feel Chinos voice was somewhat feminine in this song anyway so a female voice fits well. The young female vocalist does help for me because it is a song version that I can share with my daughter and she will be able to relate more than the official Deftones video or live performances. As usual, negative comments are best kept to yourself. No need to clutter positive performance with negative attitudes.

I just got an acoustic I can already play Diamond Eyes and You've Seen The Butcher on electric, but your videos popping up in my feed are making me actually want to try an acoustic cover. Great job btw dude.
