Sounded like a pretty rough run for them actually, they were cleaner last week BUT this was the first run in this dome. The amount of reverb off the back wall is a challenge. I expect they'll be pushing 98 by saturday.

I know DCI wants to make it interesting, but watching last night - not sure any corps should be within 3 points, they are just so strong in each caption and have an incredible design - should be 99+ at finals IMO

I’m speaking on the winning shows of the past 2 years from BD. Riffs and garden of love weren’t really all that either. I thought Boston was second best last year. The devils advocate in me thought says Bloo 2014,2015,2016, and 2019 would have blown this show out. Also BD 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017. SCV 2017 and 2018. Crown 2012, 2013, 2015, the list goes on and on. This year feels like a major down year for the big boys. Boston (who I guess could be considered a big boy now) and phantom (former big boy and future big boy) are arms and legs above the field this year in my opinion.

@@haldandickinson Company fronts, tight or spanning the field... straight lines, proper intervals, no choreography and perfect stick height from the drums, American flag squad, and good old hazing for rookies, no holding hands and coddling "artistes"? Sounds like honoring tradition. Instead you get Uncle Banjo and the Funky Bunch in 9th place with a score of 103.78. "Samples major, is your band ready? You may now take the pit in participation"... sheesh.
