Sitiveni Maritino changing of the guard is what it is, guards that guard whatever monument have to change after this shift, so yes, I believe it is done every day

Sometime it seems that these ceremonies are extremely ridiculous, but they are not. 'Guard Mounting', whereby a group of contingents (mostly infantry soldiers) are relieved by another group of contingents, is a highly precise military ceremony. It contains the military drills from peacetime and wartime and the movements are centuries old. The ceremonies are executed by elite soldiers. The Guard Mounting or Changing the Guard is an example of an upholding of an old military tradition.

No they're not. They are a proud tradition for each nation, performed by serving soldiers. Only a Neanderthal like you couldn't appreciate them.
