I have fortuner 2019 too. Manual show use oil type is C2 which is 0w-30 in Australia. My car now is only 26 000km. Should I use 5w-40. Because 0w-30 make engine vibration due to oil is too thin. I think I should use 10w-30 or 5w-30 for low km on odometer. If engine over 100 000km switch to 5w-40 or 10w-40 is that correct?. I see you using 5w-40 at what km on your odometer.

5w30 is good for regular normal use, if the car is stressed more like high heat driving or high speed driving then it’s better to go with 5w40

Ako every time mag change oil ng hilux ung may cab 2013 model at fortuner 2017 mula nung binili ko lagi akng nagpa flushing every change oil gamit ko 15w40 lng n oil pero parang gasoline ang makina sa linis... Ganito kmi mag change oil hilux 7 liter capacity nid kng 13 liters kahit 15w40 1. Drain old oil 2. Add new oil atleast 6 liters for flushing purposes 3. start engine 15-20mins then drain oil again 4. Remove oil filter and change new filter 5. Add 7 liters of motor oil... Mentality kc natin bastat mahal na oil hindi n kailangan ng oil flushing mali po un kahit mumurahin lng bastat every 5K at lagi nagpa flushing tiyak naaalagaan natin ang engine ng car natin pero kng may pambili nman kayo ng mamahaling langis pwede bastat mag flushing lng kayo para hindi mag accumulate ang contaminants sa engine nyo.

Seems to be a really good idea but at the same time na overkill. Pero kanya kanyang preference yan. Yung 2004 Honda Odyssey 439,000K miles(702,400 in kilometers) ko here sa US im doing all maintenance. I add 1 quart of motor flush prior to drain and run ang engine for 10mins then drain it. Oil change at 5K miles(8K kilometers) Also using Valvoline full synthetic since I owned the car.

@@em8819 sir kc walang problema sa oil nagbblend ako ng oil dito sa pinas...may mga additives akng hindi ginagamit kc hindi naman nid sa environment ng pinas kaya mahal ibang oil kc naka design sa environment ng ibang bansa like 0W40 nk design ito sa malalamig na bansa pero pwede din gamitin dito sa pinas pero additives na anti freeze no need sa pinas kc tropical country tayo....kaya ok na ang 15W40. Parang bumili tayo ng high tech na cellphone nid natin kol or txt lng naman pala so sayang hindi natin nagamit ang ibang features......

Alm nyo boss kng bakit sobrang itim ng oil nyo kc po hindi kayo nagpaflushing ng engine check nyo after nyong magchange oil itim agad oil nyo mga contaminants nasa loob pa rin ng engine nyo kahit gaano pa ka mahal ilagay nyong motor oil itim agad yan once n inistart nyo engine check nyo dipstick nyo itim agad oil nyo.
