I live in Australia and here we get charged $150 just to come out to see what’s wrong with it ! Probably this job will cost me easily $300 with parts and labour. This is a great video. You begin with, telling the viewer to turn the water off then empty the tank. I have seen videos where this is never mention. You also show that the water keeps running. This could also happen and you do not edit the video. I enjoyed it very much.👍🧰

Great video. Have similar problem with chrome pipe coming through the wall. Not leaking yet. Will continue to look for Fat Chrome Tubing coming through the wall video.

@@PaulNaylor3 Thank you for the reply. House is 31 years old, Had two other water feeds replaced with Pex A. The pipe I'm going to work on has a Chrome shutoff I can turn, but want to replace because the pipe has turned green with corrosion. Copper pipe, chrome plated. Have taken care of acid water problem from well, but don't want to be working on the pipe in the wall.

How do you secure that flange?

I just pushed the flange against the wall and did not secure it.
